Hey Patty...Are you finding many raw places in Nashville? Our close friend lives there and we will be visiting again this year so hope they do have some.
Glad you liked the blog. I climb with a lot of Vegeterians too, but none of them are raw foodies by any means. Sme of them actually not even healthy vegetarians. South Korea sounds awesome! I be there is some good climbing there too.
For your coffee habit you should try Teccino Herbal Coffee. http://www.teeccino.com/ I need to start drinking it again myself, lately I have jumped back into the coffee cart. This stuff is pretty good, and non-acidic.
Hey that is so sweet thankyou! I was defnitely hooked for a good few years, I used to 'need' one every morning because it would 'wake' (more like kick my adrenals into stress zone) my sleep-deprived body up so I could train cients at 6am. I learnt more about the negative affects of coffee (which helps build resolve) and just decided one day (before I was raw) that I wasn't having another cup of coffee & that was it and I did the same with alcohol and it was really quite easy, sure I got withdrawal symptoms but it was only a few days and I channelled the nervous energy I felt into exercise. Cold turkey is best girlfriend, drink lots of water in place of the coffee, keep your 'coffee' hand busy with a replacement action :-)
Hey babe this should help - here's some info about coffee..
The beans in coffee are cooked, making them non-raw. The fatal dose of caffeine is 10 grams, the amount in approximately 70 cups of coffee. Many people take one tenth of the lethal dose every day. Moreover, caffeine decreases the amount of pepsin in your body, pepsin that is needed for protein digestion. Caffeine is also known to deplete the body of water, calcium, potassium, manganese, and the vitamin B complex. It is ironic that many coffee drinkers on the Standard American Diet (SAD) criticize the raw diet because they believe they would not receive enough protein every day, while their daily intake of coffee blocks the absorption of the very protein they claim they need.
Hey Patty thanks for the PM, i can't pm you back because its not working for me but you can email me on ptlea@hotmail.com and im happy to chat !

Hi Patty Ann I see that you are into the Kombucha tea. It is new to me and I think I LOVE it and yes I spend alot of money on it so I ordered a kit.
I am still trying to figure out if it is "all good". Sometimes it seems to good to be true. But it makes me feel good and has been used for centuries so it must be good right?
What do you love about it and what benefits do you get.
Thanks Kim
