The library where I live in Colorado has free internet and computer access - maybe yours does too?... you might try that to keep your updates coming! Best of luck!

Whoa! You lost 25 pounds waterfasting? that is crazy. Were you super jittery-feeling? I always get jittery when I lose fast.

the 30 day feast starts on Jan 3rd. You can do that for sure. you don't have to do the 92 day that starts on march..that might be alot for someone on the first go around. I know it was for me..i orginally had planned t do 92 days earlier this year but i stopped at 30. I didn't truly understand what it took mentally to make 92 days happen. This time i'm going to do the 30 days and do the 1 month break as a prepartion for the 92.

but then again just because i couldn't do 92 days right away doesn't mean you can't

if the cake is important to your hubbie and you don't mind eating the cake...eat it. you can always start after your anniversary. .what do you think?

Hey, welcome to the community.

I'm glad that you'll be joining in the juice feast. It's going to be great...even the bad days (which is inevitable for me). I'm looking forward to this one!

Will this be your first feast?

Profile Information

About Me:
Wow! I've been researching raw foods for several years now and in my head I LOVE it and I know it's the best way to live. Somehow though my head and my mouth/stomach have yet to agree.

However, my husband is leaving for basic training. He is going to be gone for 9 weeks and I have decided to use this emotional time to plunge whole-heartedly 100% into raw foods. I don't know how I will do, I don't know what exactly my emotional, spiritual, physical state will be the when this period is over but I'm going to try.

Emotional support and friendly advice is MUCH appreciated!!

Favorite Quote:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~ Marianne Williamson

100% Raw Transformation coming soon. . . .

Once again I find myself having fallen off the bandwagon. I let everything else take over my life and I get carried away with life and forget to follow the goals I've set for myself. It's funny how everything seems to follow a pattern.

My husband is leaving for basic training on Tuesday. He's going to be gone for nine weeks. I'm having a really hard time dealing with this. Yesterday was our first wedding anniversary. I can't believe how everything has changed over just one year.

I've been real… Continue

Blogging

After yet another fall of the weight-loss/raw bandwagon I've decided to set up a blog on blogger chronicling my journey. If anyone would like to check it out and leave me a comment/support I would be so appreciative!

My Hubby Quit Smoking!

Yay! I'm so excited! He's been saying he would stop ever since I've known him and I had finally just gotten to the point that I didn't think he ever would and suddenly he stops!! He quit cold turkey on Thanksgiving night and he hasn't had one since.

Anyway I just had to post the exciting news!

Willingness to Change

Last night I borrowed my mom's juicer (the one she bought the first time we tried to go raw) and bought apples, carrots, pomegranate, bananas, lemons, oranges, green onions, and romaine lettuce. None of it is organic though. I live in a really small town and since it's winter the nearest organic food market is about an hour and a half away. I'm on a really tight budget since my husband hasn't been able to find another job so I'll just have to make to with what I have.

I can feel in my body that… Continue

My new Facebook

I used to spend all my internet time on Facebook. Now I pretty much spend it all on giveittomeraw.com LOL :-) It's been a HUGE help for me in researching raw and planning my transition. I'm such a planner, that I have to have a detailed plan right in front of me to do this. I'm actually trying to scale it back and just kind of "flow" with it. Soon, hopefully soon.
