I now eat a mono - fruit meal for breakfast, 60 oz of green smoothie around lunch time, and around dinner I have about 1 lb of salad. If I am hungry otherwise, I will snack on fruit.

Great! Thanks Amanda!

I tried the ranch dressing your husband did on raw fu, and I added some mashed avocado to it...wow. I'm so glad to have that recipe now, I use the ranch dressing all the time!

Thank you so much for your answers. I am so blessed to have you in my life!

If I can think of other things to ask, then I will send the questions your way. I am very grateful!

Love and Light,
Tawni

I know, I shouldn't stress so much. I am hoping the world will have changed by then and things won't be so stressful and difficult for the majority of Earth's inhabitants. I hope that we change into glorified beings like it says in the bible, and how a lot of new age people say that in 2012 our dna will change to 12 strands. By then, if it really happens, we won't need all the "education" that is out there today.

We will simply have knowledge of everything, and the only thing that will matter is that we just choose one thing that we're passionate about. That way, everyone can have abundance, everyone can thrive in this world.

Another question, do you work, or are you able to stay home with your daughter?

I work, and was just curious if there was other people you knew who worked as well, who un/homeschooled. I am a little nervous about that aspect as well. I will have at least 2 hours with her every day except Wednesday, when I will have all day. I figured Wednesday could be the day we do the most. Then I figured she could do her work while commuting, and when she is at grandma's/aunties house.

I hope this is no bother for you, just trying to calculate how much time she will need. Thank you, Thank you!

Thank you so much! Those were very encouraging words, and thanks a bunch for the book names.

What do you think about college though, and the exams you have to take to get into one? I am just a little concerned about that...just in case she wanted to get into one.

My view is that if she really wants to, she will study all she needs to know in order to pass the exam. Don't you think? Is that how most unschoolers do it? I am still a little clueless on it.

Thanks! I may pester you a bit with a few more questions, I hope you don't mind...it's just nice knowing someone with firsthand experience who can kind of nudge me along...

Wow, that's really neat that you're unschooling now. I have been doing lots of research, and it has been found that kids learn better in an unstructured environment. It makes sense to study your passions...and learn that way. You can pretty much learn to read, write, do math problems with everything, because everything is connected.

We all have the knowledge we need inside of us, all we need is a key to unlock it, right? God gave us all the knowledge and talents we need to survive in this world. We don't need to memorize a bunch of useless information in order to "educate" ourselves.

Things with me are good, but a little rough.

I'm not finding much support or good vibes from people I know when I speak to them about homeschooling....let alone unschooling. I think I'm going to keep this stuff to myself, and just share it with people I can trust.

One question my neighbor asked me last night was~ how will she get into college, if she doesn't keep up with the standards. And, if she doesn't keep up with the standards, I may be screwing her for life.

What do you think?

Also, the whole socialization thing. You know, I am so tired of hearing about that. It's not like I'm going to keep her locked up in the house all the time. I will be taking her to lots of my yoga classes where there will be people, and lots of activities that she likes, where there will be other kids.

Thank you! I took it myself with the first rose of spring on my rose bush. How are you?

I'm doing research on unschooling right now...I'm very interested.

I'm in North Carolina and havin' a blast. I got a sidejob doing a website and some other work too. And it looks like I will do at least 2 classes here in NC before I leave, possibly 3. (Wilmington, New Bern and Raleigh/Chapel Hill) I saw RDR's new vid's posted up on Rawfu. Nice One!

I've just went through that crossroads again. Been through it many times. It's been my history to build my life around others lives/interests etc. I know that I am happiest when pursuing my own path, but I love to avoid my fear of looking ahead in my own path by turning to light someone else's path.
Zoe knows that she can not do anything for any one. She spends all her time fueling her own light. I spent 4 years watching her become more and more powerful every month, until I watched her manifest her very dreams in front of my face and I saw things I would never have even imagined. I don't dare even to dream like that much less believe in it too and request it from the universe.
You are the light that has attracted these others to you. If you focus on the light, it will become brighter and then certainly more will then seek it's shelter. If you take your attention away from the light and focus on who is in the light, then the light may dim and leave you all in the dark. I am so hear in this place right now. That's why I had to go, and also I did not want to be in Virginia at Leonard's right now. I'm down in NC (alone) and feeling great concentrating on me. That crossroads is still in my rear view mirror.

Yeah basically the most powerful way to protect yourself against cancer is by reducing the amount of meat you eat per day to less than three ounces or eliminating meat all-together.
