So, I really cannot thank Dhru enough for creating this amazing community!! Dude, you rule times a zillion to the power of infinity. Or something really 80's like that :P
I need your help, friends. I've pretty much been falling off the Raw Wagon waaaay too often. In Taiwan, I was doing pretty well, but socially I did end up eating cooked food (albeit pretty healthy stuff, except the deep fried stinky tofu) quite a lot. People understand but there just aren't enough choices on the menu!!…

I've read you've been (or are planning to go) to the Panya Project for a permaculture course? I'm heading to Thailand in January and have looked into this place too. How was it?
Thanks for adding. Just like you, I also really love Gandhi's book "The Story of My Experiments with Truth". As a matter of fact, the language in which this book is written is my native language. So, I have read the book in that language as welll as in English. I loved your description about you. Fabulous.
Love and Light...

I've done a bunch of those things you mentioned (Green Tortoise, Tree of Life, will be at Spring Liquid Love, and lived in NYC, Tucson, Taiwan, etc..)
I may be able to put you guys up when you're in NYC..
I also may be able to give you guys rides to some of the festivals, since I'm going too, we'll see ~
Email me at jade.truth@gmail.com to further discuss!
And I LOVE Australia! I may end up living there in the future!
Peace & LIght ~

What places are you positive about visiting so far?
I couldn't imagine trying to be raw in foreign countries. I think I would buy raw superfood protein drinks pack a couple and have friends mail additional ones to me along the way.
I would bring a calawasa- (a kind of water purifyer) seeds, spirulina, algae, and def. flax and chia seeds. I can't imagine having to keep your pack below 5kg either!!
I did extensive camping when I was younger and they would drop you off with a pack for a month. One pack would hold the food for 6 girls. So it would be possible for you to pack enough food in one pack for yourself for 6mo. But our food pack weighed easily 100lbs! And we were canoeing a lot of the time so we didn't have to carry it except to portage.
I would love to travel like that. Good luck with everything! Hugs! Liz
