I'm a graphics design living unfortunately still in the midwest due to recession. I enjoy many things DIY, from container gardening, screen printing/clothing design, beer brewing (when I'm taking a break from the raw). I listen to everything from Norwegian black metal to opera, especially opera in the kitchen. I just got back from the burning man festival http://www.burningman.com/ and a few of my camp mates were doing a month long raw diet for the first time. We had some great discussions over dried goji berries.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
I'm just starting the raw lifestyle although really its barely different from the way I've eaten for the last few years. I do miss blue corn chips and salsa but sliced portabellas do quite well to scoop up fresh pico de gallo. I'm still figuring out what works for me as far as inclusion. I've been adding raw goats milk cheese into my diet sparingly.

I love it cause it is an intense workout over a short period of time. My son had a "jump rope for heart" week at school that got me into it. It uses different muscles than running and also improves coordination a lot, and I was surprised how well ...
Survivorman is crazier, did you see that episode in the desert when he started talking to birds? But I still like Grylls better overall. I feel like there is more of a point in watching the show, you feel like you're learning something, lots of tr...
I don't have much work in the office these days, this is how it goes in the month of November and December. It's so boring sitting in fount of computer all day doing nothing, I read some books but there is still a lot of idle time.

Ever since I decided I could dedicate my life to this planet becoming a peaceful paradise. Everyday is intense with blessings in all their wonderful forms.
Hi Lizz,
I haven't tried yacon; I think it's still too sweet, technically. I believe stevia is truly the only natural sweetener that is not a form of sugar. When I add vanilla flavor and a little coconut oil to the stevia, it's kind of like maple...
