Hello Im interested in gaining more knowledge of the detoxification process. I believe that since well all have different metabolisms and different ayurvedic dosha and that doing a detox should take these differences into account. I have done many...

Hi all

anyone out there interested in the detoxification process? I have down several detox's over the years usually i do i green juice fast. I'm looking to find some authors who specialize in this topic. i believe that because we all have different metabolisms and ayurvedic doshas that doing a fast cannot be the same for each of us. Anyone know of any writings or books that can further my education of this process?

About Me:
Well lets see. I have been a vegetarian on and off for the last decade. For the last two years I have been studying at The Institute of Holistic Nutrition and love all aspects of nutrition especially the cooking part. My perfect day is spent in the kitchen creating raw cereals and breads in the dehydrator, sprouting, and juicing, and listening to loud music. Now that Im nearing graduation Im trying to plan my next move. Would love to go to a raw culinary school, spend some time on a farm, and learn about herbal medicine. Other things that interest me are food ethics and food pathways, reading cook books over and over, and photography.

Hi
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where to get great kimchi in Toronto. Or has a great recipe that they would like to share.

Thanks Priyam! You are very kind and generous with your appreciation, and I appreciate the specificity. I agree with you completely that fasting is generally very poorly understood, mostly feared, and almost always avoided. Though someone once su...

Hey Michele! We fast 8-10 people per year for 6 weeks and most of them have amazing experiences. Incidentally, though some people imagine there's a need to "work up" to a long fast like this, many are fasting this long for the first time; in fact,...

Hi Jeff, Every organism is completely self-healing. When sick or badly injured enough, every species will lie down and rest completely. Fasting itself has no curative power, but when we stop processing food (the single most energy expensive proce...
