Good luck! :) I might change my raw June challenge to a 100 day challenge too! I do a lot of activity and work out, and actually have a 10k run/race today!! I'll be doing about 2hours of walking a day, and 3days a week light weight training. I don...

What do you know about the relation between enzymes and children diagnosed with PDD-NOS/AS/HFA?
June 6
If you find one you like, please let me know.
June 6
Sounds good. I wonder if the kids will eat it.
June 6
Sounds good to me. Now if only I can switch my brain gears.

I'm hoping that I'm not the only male that wants to be RAW and their wife doesn't (my wife controls the kitchen and isn't too happy when I invade her territory). Anyone else in this particular boat?

Profile Information

About Me:
Self employed father of two beautiful children, the older diagnosed as PDD-NOS. Recently, I have had the privelage of staying at Mitzpe Alummot where I was introduced into the world of Raw/Living Foods. Although not 100% raw (about 70%, maybe a little more), I try to manage alone with the raw/living foods diet while working out at least twice per week at the gym and need support and advice in keeping up with it.
One of my current projects is trying to integrate an organic RAW/Living Foods diet into the education system instead of the typical Hospital/School cafeteria diet.

100 Day Challenge.

After seeing so many attempt a 100 day challenge, I will try it as well.
Currently, I am not 100% RAW, but will attempt it.
In addition to keeping it RAW, I will try and do 30 minutes of cardio Sun thru Fri and wieghts Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

If anyone out there has simple daily RAW plans that may be prepared ahead of time and kept in the fridge, I would appreciate the info. If, in addition, anyone has a workout regiment that would be compatible with the 100 day challenge, I would appr… Continue

Silly Rabbit, Enzymes are for Kids

I have been reading much about enzymes and how they may help children in the autism spectrum. What I have not seen, is what should be given to kids.

Any thoughts?

PDD-NOS/AS/HFA and RAW/Living Foods

I am the father of a 7yo PDD-NOS child who had to (and fortunately was able to) send his family to a different part of the country in order for him to get the best help available. Currently I am working with parents and other concerns to open a Health and Education Campus in our neck of the woods so that PDD-NOS/AS/HFA children here do not get left behind. In addition to the "common" forms of "treatment", the focus of our Health and Education campus is primarily on nutrition and its effects on t… Continue

The Wire is a good one. Am I the only one who got into Rome? I really enjoyed that series. Six Feet Under was great too. HBO puts out some really good television I think.

I love it cause it is an intense workout over a short period of time. My son had a "jump rope for heart" week at school that got me into it. It uses different muscles than running and also improves coordination a lot, and I was surprised how well ...

Survivorman is crazier, did you see that episode in the desert when he started talking to birds? But I still like Grylls better overall. I feel like there is more of a point in watching the show, you feel like you're learning something, lots of tr...
