I've been raw for 1.5 years and can certainly say that it is absolutely not a waste of time to soak and dehydrate nuts. Firstly, soaking removes the enzyme inhibitors. That information alone didn't mean much to me because I didn't know how it woul...
With so much conflicting information, Is it pointless to buy and soak raw nuts and then dehydrate them? I realize you want them softer for recipes and crunchier for snacking, are they still live food after dehydrating?

Ack! You've got grandkids!?! sigh.. I started soooo late! I was 31 with number 1 and 45 with number 7. I'm now getting ready for my birthday in a couple more months.I'll be 49 then. ahhh. how life goes by so fast! ( by the way... I'm sorry I said it wrong... but my oldest is out of the house so I've only 6 at home. He flew the coupe this last year at age 16.) So my kids are between ages 16 and 3 yrs old.
Franklin isn't raw, neither is my wonderful husband, which presents it's own challenges! This, however, was a choice I made recently so I don't push it. My husband is very supportive and is working towards vegetarian as he is a meat and potato guy.
Thanks, Erin. Dang, I forgot to check Vitacost, which I just did--and I have been seeeeeriously overpaying for my essential sweets!
I have definitely made friends with stevia--it's like my new *best* friend now that I don't use any other sweetene...
lol i didn't mean, btw, that worshipping Jesus is not good :) i more meant that, in my opinion, it's his message that should be worshipped and not the unique-being. grand appreciation, though :)
