So I'm free this weekend.

So I'm surfin' listenin to Kings of Leon. n' I hit this pretty cool thing goin' on this Sat.
I got a few days to decide... I'm in.

Right in my back yard.
Got my bike... got a helmet.
Sunglasses? Goggles?
Don't have the $$ for 'em.

I won't be sporting any sleek cycling clothing.

wow! amazing. out of curiousity, did you feel that you needed to raw-detox for a number of years before going on a water fast over 7 days?

You're absolutely right; sodium is not the problem, but sodium chloride, and inorganic mineral salt which always causes water retention and raises blood pressure. We don't need any of that.

i'll update when i find some more info for you.
guess you could say i veered from the dentistry path b/c, no matter how hard i tried to convince myself it was what i wanted to do, I always found my thoughts naturally diverted to holistic health/medicine, nutrition,etc, and what i wanted to spend most of my free time learning more about. I would spend hours and hours researching natural and alternative cures, and became really passionate about gaining enough knowledge to somehow, someday use that to open other people's eyes to real ways of living without disease and pain without the use of drugs...and, inevitably, all of this led me to raw food. holistic dentistry is a pretty cool job, and thank goodness for the few out there there are...but all in all, mouths in general are not as appealing as i once thought... however, all the tasty lovely wonderful God-given foods ya put in your mouth sure is! :)
what about you, what brought you to all of this?
by the way....I TOTALLY feel ya on the pizza thing, I'm an italian girl, so i adore my pizza!! (guess it's in my genes...lol)
