Well not really...the sea water is boiled to remove the water and just leave the salt behind. They've been doing it this way for probably thousands of years, I saw it on a tv programme.

Yes it is raw but don't enjoy the benefits of something just because it's cooked. There are plenty of food sources that are beneficial when cooked.
I believe it's only sun dried.

Hand Harvested Sea Salt................is it RAW?
What do people think about sea salt, the hand harvested variety ?
Like Celtic Sea Salt?
I like to add it into smoothies etc, but am not sure its a raw food.................is it RAW?
My attitude is usually "listen to what your body is telling you" as my guide if its good for me,
but I have to admit, my body(or my ability to listen to the message its giving) can give mixed messages................
I would like to hear what others think feel pray and do about sea salt..............?LOL

- Chris, at the moment we do not have to train as traditional medical students. All of the bio classes are involved, however. Acupuncturist can receive a DOM, Doctorate of Oriental Medicine and we have clinical rotations in school. If you have an other questions, just ask. You should look into if you have the time, it is amazing.
