Hello,
I'm new to the Raw food thing. Needing a change from my everyday cooked meals.
I'm in need of some serious overhaulin in my diet since i just had my 3rd child and my weight has skyrocketed :(
I have been mostly vegan. I really enjoyed Macrobiotic cooking :) But it was hard to get the kids to eat ANY of it. Esp when their dad let's them eat fast food :(

For the kids, try green smoothies with frozen berries for taste.
My sis had the same challenge with her kids and I think her best advice would be to add, not restrict. Meaning it is futile fighting society's tempations for "bad" food. Instead at least make sure they get their daily dose of green smoothie loaded with all the good stuff.

If you measure your food intake for a few days with a cheap food scale and put the information into nutridiary.com you will be light years ahead of 99% of the people on this website. Literally, I kid you not, a majority of the people on this website offering advice actually have no idea what they are putting in their body. The average raw food enthusiast eats about 70% of their calories from fat and don't even know it.

I'm serious, just go to the grocery store, buy all kinds of celery, kale, cucumbers, carrots, and whatever else you want, and juice is all and only drink juices for as long as you can!

my magic bullet burnt out, it was good for travelling while I had it though. Can you get a second hand blender? The cheaper ones I have used don't chop up the greens as well. Try to get something with a higher wattage, like 1000watt.
