Hey Yoga Mama!
The 80-10-10 diet is a concept coined from Dr. Doug N. Graham's book: "The 80-10-10 Diet, balancing your health, your weight, and your life, one luscious bite at a time." It's a very very good book -I highly recommend it. The basic concept is 80% of calories coming from Carbohydrates, 10% from Protein, & 10% from fats. This may seem odd compared to what we've been told, but it makes perfect sense when you really start to examine it. Let me know if you have any questions. :)
Hi Yoga mama,
I was reading what your fav dishes are and the avacodo pie made my taste buds scream out!. I love avocado's. Any chance of getting the recipe??.

Hey mom, I forgot to ask if you were going to come to Davis for the whole earth festival? I'm going to be free from any school obligations during that time so I plan on being a bum over there for that whole weekend.
Hey mom. I'm actually sitting in a discussion where they are talking about how vegans risk protein deficiency. I made the point that everything has protein in it and a varied diet would give you sufficient amounts. They didn't agree so I said I've been a vegan for over a year and said I was an example that this is the case (while I flexed my arms). They laughed but weren't convinced. Oh well. PS- The lentil sprouts worked great. I made a salad from the big Raw Food book and it was great.

I'm not going to comment on climate change. But i will comment on carbon trading. Because they can produce such a consciousness of fear out of global warming - they are able to manipulate markets much more severely - and they seem to get away with...

Cupuaçu is a Brazilian fruit that tastes divine. Unfortunately, it is not exported to Canada or the US (I think).
