I'd have to say, when going raw in your 20s, especially in college its all about balance and keeping it simple. Making the best of what's around so you don't end up missing out on anything is important. Don't skip out on events, parties, and gathe...
Add more raw foods gradually and the SAD foods gradually diminish from your diet. This is a great time of year to begin transitioning because of all the fruit that is available.

You are right you have gorged yourself on information and now are confused. Pick one thing and do that. I suggest you start with the green smoothie and do that for one week to start out. Don't think about all the rest just make the one change and ...

I'm a student who will attend college next year. I currently eat 80% vegetarian and 20% pescatarian. I'm looking forward to improving my life, health and perspective by eating more raw foods! The topic of raw foods is just so exciting. I can't wait to begin this journey with the support of this community.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
I'm young and still very new to this lifestyle. I also will be attending college, so my eating and food preparation schedules will be limited and inflexible. I would love transition advice as well as moral support to cheer me on!

Amen, Loren. So do you feel the same way about blending then? The whole fiber is still there with blending so not improving on nature as much as sort of 'pre-chewing', if you will
