any ideas as to where i could do work exchange? I'd like to try a farm on Maui or the Kona side of the Big Island, pretty much any warm and sunny spot in Hawaii would be great.

- Was doing work exchange on the Big Island,was staying in Waikiki and Ewa Beach on Oahu with 2 families chipping in for food and some work exchange. Back on the Big Island on Hilo side... want some sun, miss it. Currently hanging out with a friend on the Kona side of the Big Island but will be leaving for Ewa Beach on Oahu in a week.

How long did 50lbs last you? A week? I would recommend that a person get some greens to go along with their bananas.. did you forage for any greens that week?

That is a good point Angus. I have found that a lot of fundamentalist religions accuse everyone else of worshiping the devil and it like a blind hysteria- like all these other people have a black bible in their house and secretely worship a statue...
