About Me:
I dream of families being allowed a hectare of land each to grow food by their own hand without taxation. Families allowed to reconnect with their Motherland, which they have been seperated from. Each one carving out their own corner of paradise: flourishing gardens, food grown with love for their own nourishment, a space to share their lives together rather than apart, a living raspberry bush fence, a pond, flowerbeds, a beehouse, etc. All of which partners could co-create, delight in together and pass onto their children.

The world would transform before our eyes into a paradise: a pristine garden with living water suitable to drink and heal; clean, fresh air suitable to breathe, enriched by pollens and pleasant floral ethers.

This would not be forced on families, merely provided if desired: an opportunity to become indepently self-sufficient.

The lifestyle would be deeply connected with nature and perhaps a handful of select modern conveniences (bearing in mind their ultimate decay and maintenance, and therefore headache for future generations).

MY GOAL IN LIFE is to co-create a plot of land with a soul mate in this manner, a space of love, to pass on to the children we might have (and their children...etc) within a community of at least 150 other families (150 nieghboring hectares) who are aligned with this beautiful vision for a brighter future.

The complete picture of which was inspired by Vladimir Megre's Ringing Cedars series and the protagonist Anastasia.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
I desire conjoint creation and joy for all from its contemplation

25 Things

I thought I would share 25 things about myself - a list i posted to a mainstream social networking site.

Goals
1. Getting off the grid and growing one’s own food is one of the most important pieces to resolving world problems in my mind. Peace starts with a garden, and it’s my goal to learn and practice permaculture by next year.

2. I think the closer I can get to living in harmony with mother earth, the higher my potential vibration, contentment, and life meaning can become. To this e… Continue

Raw Lecture! :)

Thursday December 4th I volunteered my time to give a hour long presentation about raw foods to a large group of low income family 3rd-6th graders. How gratifying to teach all of them - and how their faces lit up about raw foods! :)

Tonya Zavasta mentions this in her speaking and I believe in one of her books. Since raw vegans have naturally healthy blood, and not "thick", she was told (and she read it) that it could be very dangerous for her. I told my surgeon about it and they assured me I would have no blood thinner administered. Conventional docs will not have this education about raw foodist since MOST all peeps are SAD eaters. That is what pharma studies are based on....not raw vegans. Tonya is very smart and a lifetime researcher, so I believe it is a good source. Hope this helps somewhat....

Hi! Nice to meet you as well :) I am definitely taking advantage of the co-ops around the city, and am really looking forward to the farmers markets this summer! I think once summer begins I will have to go to some pot lucks too. I have yet to do that just for lack of time. Your photos look delish by the way! Do you make up a lot of your own recipes?

Thanks for being so understanding. I'm so sorry about your friend...
And I'd love to go to the lunch, but I've got so much homework to do today it's insane (midterms, ugh). Thank you for offering that though!

Hey Tom, thanks for the great offer :)

I'm not really comfortable getting together in person, at least not just by myself. I'm cool with group meet ups though. You're probably a really great, nice guy, but I was always taught to be careful. I'm really sorry if that offends you...
I'd be totally eager to shoot the shits and chat online though. Do you have any instant messenger or anything like that?

Full disclosure - I work as a therapist. Yes, it helps. But you should know that the value of it can't be described by the speed of the healing process or whether you're looking or seeming perfect. Therapy is about coming to terms and coming back...

I always used to get sick on foods from restaurants, but the same meal I prepared at home wouldn't make me sick.... restaurants tend to drown foods in butter and oils, you've probably been eating less of those since going on those diet.
