Hi guys, Kyle from Manna here. We actually have two superhero raw food events going on at Manna in Brighton, www.mannaofbrighton.com, (59 mins from London, Victoria).
Half the people attending will be coming down from London:

Life is grand, even though I forgot to brush my skin today, ha-ha, and I put out the loofa, too, by the tub, and still forgot. Anyway, I like to oil-pull, it's just another thing I do for myself, added to a long, long, long list of yoga things, Knowledge practice, getting sunlight, going barefoot outside, learning from this site.
I do my oil-pulling while on GITMR. It's not unpleasant. Will it do any good, well people, or SOME people anyways sure say so, so I'll "give it a try". I'm also getting a 2-hour!! massage today, and will probably do a couple massage trades this week, if all go well.
Life is amazing, and a lot of work, or conscious effort, or something like that, who knows. Don't ask me. What do I know, ha-ha. I have receeding gums. My teeth do look nice and white. Maybe the two weeks of oiling is paying off.
i say give it a try and don't be a lazy bumster!!!
Much Love, Yogs
PS When you go away with your group, don't slack off. Try to be consistent, make effort. I hope yer not saying peer pressure is dissuading you from caring from yourself. Every weird, so-called, health deal I get into, I leave more friends behind, no regrets at all.
I've been doing the oil pulling what, about ten days, missed one, doing it now. I'm doing it on faith, you know. My teeth don't look any worse, that's for sure. Almost out of oil. I'll get more, and keep on doing it indefinitely.
Are you gonna try it. Hope you're still getting your raw on. Beautiful blog, I see you're a runner and date enthusiast (I love dates and bananas too).
hey love~~absolutely understandable, and this is why im no longer shoving masses of fruit in my gob lol...ohhh can they send you the chia hon,to save you the drive and you get them sooner?
im doing so well, thank you for asking..great to hear from you xxo
Right now I'm focusing on Russian, Arabic, French, and Mandarin - an hour or two each a day; but I take Finnish, Dutch, Icelandic, Hungarian, Swedish, and Czech for one hour a week each. And then occasionally I'll mess around with Slovak, Norwegian, Bulgarian, and Serbian for a few hours :P
I figure in 20 years or so I should be fluent in all of them, lol.
Japanese is super awesome, I'm rubbish at learning character languages - even with Chinese I'm just learning speech not writing. I have the same mental block about characters that I do with maths :P Are you into anime?
aw thank you!!
i do a little bit of hair modelling, but not really much else... a little bit of art modelling for friends if that counts? haha
mmm i love singing. so much! that's the one thing that makes my day when im down!
how has the raw journey been for you so far?
xx
Definitely :) Check out his website too, it's pretty impressive. The guy gets away with charging up to £18,000 for a few days of private instruction. It's like hypnotism learning, lol. Neat article on him and the teaching method: http://www.michelthomas.com/financial_times_032704.htm
nope chias arent expensive well not here...they are tiny little nutty tasting seeds, they are super hydrating very filling, give great endurance for training, when you add them to water they turn to jelly ,a great base for smoooothies and puddings...big warm finished studying hugs xxx
I'm half Siberian, but I mostly just love the way they sound. I feel the same about Finnish/Swedish/Norwegian/Icelandic/Dutch, but sadly it seems as if almost everyone over there speaks perfect English :P I have family in Wales and Ireland too, and when I was trying to learn Welsh and Gaelic they would suffer my accent for a few seconds before switching back into English.
Ooh! I found something new and I have to share it with all the other language junkies. You might have heard of it, but I just found a language system called the "Michel Thomas Method." It's really different and I've only been using it for a few days but I've made loads of progress with their Arabic and Chinese lessons. It uses a relaxation method to let new vocabulary become permanent without forced memorisation. They have a somewhat limited spectrum of languages (Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, French, Dutch, German, Italian, Japanese, and English for Frenchies) but what they have seems to be very effective, I've collected about 70 words of new vocabulary in 3 hours (in each language). And it's totally free too if you don't mind bittorrent :)
I'm a young girl with a passionate love for good food and healthy living.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
I'd love to get tips about fitness and food, especially which foods to consume and when (eg. post and pre workout meals). And advice on raw foods I can eat for lunch and dinner, because I've got breakfast down, but the rest seems to be a bit harder for me.

neither wins because the world isn't fair- and we are constantly having to deal with it. the more conscious you are the more you see how unethical people rule the world and you can't wish them away by feeding your happiness with cacao. it's a fun ...
How long did 50lbs last you? A week? I would recommend that a person get some greens to go along with their bananas.. did you forage for any greens that week?
Wow Id like to hear more on this from other people as well. I am not sure where to get info on things like this either- I just know my personal experience with a low carb diet. I still believe in low carb for the most part but plant based live foo...
That is a good point Angus. I have found that a lot of fundamentalist religions accuse everyone else of worshiping the devil and it like a blind hysteria- like all these other people have a black bible in their house and secretely worship a statue...
