Maybe you can get a job or internship at one of the local CSA's (you can find them @ localharvest.org)
I found out that my qiogng teacher starts new classes in the beginning of March and they will be on Mon. nights. If you're interested, I'd email him to get on the list for that class:) I'm having a lot of fun now that I'm going into part 3 of the Practitioner level. We're learning actual clinical energy work now.

Thanks Tim! I hope you're well too! Are you moving back for music?
I noticed that my qigong teacher starts a new level one class in Jan. It would be neat if you could take that:)

Hey Tim! The acupunturist I saw is Lihua Sheng at The Lotus Center. She has quite a long waiting list, but you might be able to get a cancellation appt.

There is another guy who I've heard phenominal things about- I'll see if I can dig up his # for you:)

My qigong teacher/healer might be really neat for you to see. I think medical qigong is a lot more powerful than acupuncture (which is why I'm studying it):

Here's an herbalist/electrodermal screeneing guy I see who is so knowledgable:

Rejuvelac is a raw probiotic drink best taken in the morning after
breakfast. Ann Wigmore brought the concept to the US from Europe.
She said she got the idea from the folklore and mythology there.

Originally rejuvelac is made from grains like wheat and rye. I
prefer to use cabbage. The dead grains that will begin to decompose
in the mixture will contaminate the drink. There is no guarantee
that any batch of sproutable grains is 100% sproutable. Cabbage will
always make a fresh batch.

I use a pint-size mason jar. Chop up the cabbage, green or purple,
into small bits and fill up the jar about half way. Add water until
it is almost full. Leave a small amount of air inside for the
airborne bacteria to populate the elixir and begin to multiply in it.
Screw on the lid nice and tight.

Age this for 24-48 or maybe longer in a dark place, where cultures
prefer, like a cabinet.

Strain into a glass and drink straight, dilute with water or add
fresh-made raw rosewater for flavor.

Rejuvelac is great for replenishing a healthy flora to digest foods
better. This drink is much stronger that water or nut mylk. Please
use caution. If it went bad by aging too long or any other reason
please discard. Do not drink this or consume any other fermented foods when ill.

Hi Tim,
Sorry to hear about the hard times.
Hope they work out to opening windows in to better times.
What about http://www.bikeschool.com/
Then working at a bike shop through college.
That's what a friend of mine did.
More people buying bikes now than ever.
Means, more bike techs needed.
And it helps get people out of their cars: a very good thing.
Yoga should be free.
There is a free yoga group that meets in my town, in a park.
You can always start one... and invite local drummers.
A good little book: "As You Think."
As far as tuning in: Write a declaration statement first thing every morning - even if you write the same thing every morning. Declare your intentions. "I will...."
Peace.
John

That is a good point Angus. I have found that a lot of fundamentalist religions accuse everyone else of worshiping the devil and it like a blind hysteria- like all these other people have a black bible in their house and secretely worship a statue...
