Although I am not in Gainesville, but instead in Jacksonville, I do have friends there, travel often to research at UF, and always network with the veg, vegan, and raw crowds in the Jax/Gaines/Orlando areas. Welcome to this little raw place in the universe.
I remember specifically when I decided to go 100% raw, and the 3 months that followed were so transformative, I decided to not go back. As a matter of fact, at that 3 month mark, I decided to "celebrate" my 100% raw journey with a cooked meal (like a moron) and as soon as the meal was over, I became sick. "Never again!" I swore ...
I will be in touch everytime there is a raw gathering of some sort, as I do host many throughout the year (Holidays are tough, though). My good friend Kelly leads the raw group in Jacksonville, and I work very closely with her on building up this community, so between the two of us, something will always be popping up.
