Hi, not sure if people are active here or not. Doesn't look like it. I'm in Northwest Arkansas, hoping to help put Arkansas on the map more in terms of great health through food and nutrition!

I couldn't find a group for people living here in AR so I decided to make one in hopes of meeting others who live here. Anyone who is interested in eating more raw living foods or is 100% or 25% or anything in-between is welcome to join.

26 Days 100% raw

I am still living at a friends house, I got to see my kids for 6 days, and tomorrow i will have to give them back to daddy until the 4th. He has temporary custody and I have visitation until we settle this all out in court. My raw journey has been clouded with serious grief and anger. I want to be joyous, but my babies mean the world to me. I pray constantly, and for a peaceful solution and a way to heal my aching heart, and my childrens hearts. Were all experiencing tremendous pain right now, a… Continue

I dont know how I found you Tiffany. I guess from one link to another on this site. I did read some of what you are going through . . and want to be on you friends list just to watch how you make it through all of of what you are going through. Put me on your friends list - either way, I will remember you and try to send good positive thoughts your way. Be strong.

Tiffany just enter into Google.com "Gabriel Cousens MD High Mycotoxins Cashews" then look in Google.com books....:) You can read most of the book for free although I recommend buying it, you will know more than 99% raw foodists, most people just follow the crowd without doing any research! Gabriel is a DOCTOR MD that did: medical, spiritual and scientific research I based all of my recipes on his recommendations and advice...

A lot of raw foods is potentially harmful to us! Most people do not know or are totally ignoring the facts, read and get this book, especially pages 27, 33, 34:

There are substitutes that ARE good for you! I incorporate them into my recipes/book/DVDs, instead of cashews or peanuts you can use ANY other kind of nut, instead of Nama Soyu you can use sea salt, lime or miso, etc...

Anyone know of a dehydrator that really gets the job done for a really good price. (Somewhere under $80 maybe, or am I being too unrealistic?)

That's what I had. I used it for 10 hours once(was recommended by the instructions). It melted the plastic. It was a waste of $40

I bought a cheap Oster 16 speed blender (like $25) about a year ago and it does magic. Sort of small, but blends everything I need and leaves my green smoothies smoooooth. Even blends whole nuts =] Oh yeah!
