Ok, on Sunday morning, I went to the kick-off meeting for our new weight-loss contest. I did this last Summer also, but hope to do ALOT better this time, because I am determined to kick butt this time (probably my own mostly).

- About Me:
- Before I became a mother of 7 and grandma of 4, I was sorta shaped like "Olive Oyl"...but thanks to stress, depression, and an ex-husband who was addicted to junk food & just life in general...I went from Olive Oyl to Bluto.
Before having kids I had a 22 inch waist, now my waist is about 38 (or at least thats what my work pants say)and I have a bigger flat tire around my middle then any car. I gained over 70 pounds during my first pregnancy and my weight has yo-yo'd for many years since then but for the last 15 years or so I can't get it below the 150's, in fact I think 155 has been my lowest weight ever in last 15 yrs.....(which is about 15 pounds lower then what it is right now)

- fruit~it it fits in my blender then I'm in heaven

Food rules & My motto
I have been trying to lose the habit of calling any certain food "good or bad", but sometimes I still ask myself "how will I feel after eating this" I know that if I eat certain foods now that later on I will feel bloated, have a stomache, have the runs and seem to live in the bathroom for a week straight and in some cases (mainly from to much sodium)~makes my lips feel numb & swollen

sharing the juice
Last night while at work, 1 of my young co-workers (about 25 yrs old) mentioned that he wanted to go on the "orange juice diet". Now I had heard of the cabbage soup diet, and the grapefruit diet, but wasn't really sure what he meant by "the orange juice diet"...well come to find out, he wanted to figure out a way to have fresh raw OJ everyday. i dont know,cos we are sensitive deep beings whos personalities lifestyles and needs vary?some of us are recovering from illness,some arent..some live in the tropics some live in freezing cold climates....

Ajonus seems to phoney to me. He gives like 5 different reasons on why he choose to eat the way he does. Although he does have some good insight on certain subjects. He comes off as to much of a con IMO.
My tattoo artist used approved UV reactive inks, so it's not really glow in the dark but glow under blacklight. Neither me, nor the 8 other people that got the tattoo together have had a reaction or a rejection of the ink so far. It's very faint o...
