About Me:
Artist/Painter/illustrator/Photographer and Bellydancer.
Thats not very insightful is it - I have painted/drawn before I could walk and now it is my profession. Its not making millions yet, but one day.... ONE DAY!! I am a portrait painter and fantasy/horror illustrator - and the Bellydancing started as a hobby and I now teach it!

I have always been attracted to the healthy living thing - but I am weak (bacon!), and don't think i'd ever go 100% but i'm open to surprises. I have spent time in the past juicing regularly, but found it not very satisfying - I like to feel i've eaten something (although would be happy for a juice for brekky).

I am friendly and open and unfortunately have to be anonymous on here because of very scary internet experiences in the past. I am very happy to have found this site - I think its the jump start I need!
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
Seriously want to be as raw as possible - but don't know how!! I'm worried about the impact it will have with my family, friends and my partner (obviously not worried about the health benefits!). I still want to be able to enjoy meals out with friends and family and not become an outcast (our family eat alot of meat). I have never been a vegetarian, but have done juicing for a while (but not currently) and i loved it - but its very time consuming the juicing. I think I could do a 75% raw diet - maybe more. I am put off by the 'you have to be 100% RAW' folks, and hats off to them for 100%, but its not something I am particularly interested in (at the moment). What I worry about is not getting enough of the right things - ie, I want to make sure I get a varied enough range of all the proteins, fats, etc with the things I eat.
