Hey Rachel, you'll get more responses if you post this on 30 bananas a day. It's a 80/10/10 site. I've been 811rv for 9 months and eat fruit all day and then fruit with greens like lettuce and cellery at night. Eating late isn't ideal as it messes...
811rv since the beginning of October and feeling great!
I was eating pretty much this way about 11 years ago for a 6 month period and felt the best I ever had. Unfortunately I had to have my compacted wisdom teeth removed and my diet did not survive the 2 week recovery and pain relief drugs. I was also 23 and wanted to hang out drinking with my friends. Since then I've been mainly %50 fresh fruit/cooked vegan. I've now decided to come back to it as I had always promised myself. It took a bit longer than I had anticipated!
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
moral support, as my friends are great at telling me I'm crazy.

I’m in Rosebud, on the Mornington Peninsula. Yeah, I have been trying 80/10/10 since end of last year. With varying success lol. But recently have been sticking to it really well and feeling pretty great! Fruit is bloody awesome! I didn’t think there would even be many raw foodies, let alone 80/10/10ers in Melbourne. Most people I know think vegan is strange enough! My partner is also doing it and going really well. Both building heaps of muscle which is good. Do you go to the meet up group in Melbourne? Thanks for the link, will check it out!
Cairn is pretty cool, although there is no beach, but its a nice small place. I spent a lot of time at the backpacker place 'The Woolshed.' Back then when I was SAD I got a free meal there every night for working at the Hostel. There were fish races every night and I got to race the Canada fish! Lots of diving can be done, which is SO cool!! I loved it! Ocean Free does this trip to Green Island, which was beautiful. Except I did get a bit seasick...
Ya, I definitely plan on getting to somewhere a bit warmer and soon! Costa Rica is looking good for a while, and Hawaii might be cool too. And of course I will have to go back to your neck of the woods, cause I have a soft spot for that place. How lucky are you!? :)
Heard some of your music, sounds cool! What do you like to play?
Take care, tell those nuts n avos to jump out a window!! lol I might give mine to my cat.
oh right, like on the simpsons (sad that its my source of information about toads!! lol)
wow ya, 40 sounds pretty crazy, but i love the heat, always have. was in cairns for about 2 1/2 months working in a backpacker for this nutty canadian lady. it was cool, i got to drive the bus (why they trusted me with it is my question - i constantly switched the wipers on instead of signaling, lol) and i went on some tours for free too, like to cape trib and the tablelands. they were so beautiful!!
where you thinking of going up north?? darwin sounds cool too, seems like there is a lot of markets and stuff there!
it's a bit ridiculous. i wonder who was the first person to decide it was a good idea to move to a place like this!! lol they must have come in the summertime or something!
what is a cain toad? all i remember about cairns was the fruit bats and the noise the birds made, it was SO loud!! i was there between summer and the rainy season. how hot does it really get? cause it seems like over +30C would be intense! but they say that people who can handle one extreme can handle the opposite quite well too...
you are very much correct!! these last few days we neared -40C with the windchill. you couldn't walk more than 20 mins outside without freezing!
melbourne must be nice this time of year, summer right?!
I would encourage you to eat oranges instead Vampi. Whole food is always best. Oranges are a perfect food; lots of sugar, and lots of fiber to slow down the absorption into the blood stream. Take out all the fiber and you've got a blood sugar spik...
since I find no reason to believe in 'allergies' against 'natural' appropriate stuff, I would think it's more likely just the fact that pineapple if bought in store is pretty much always unripe. Not that it matters to the situation perhaps.
...but...
Nicolas have you ever had a pineapple that does not give symptoms. In my experience around these hoods where we are there are practically no ripe pineapples..or perhaps a few dunno
Yes ma'am. Resting as completely as possible with eyes closed; getting enough water; avoiding too much sun; avoiding toxic substances (personal care products, cleaning products, etc.)
I enjoy writing about the deepest darkest secrets of my heart, about things I dont want to share with anyone..or lack the guts to share. Love letters mostly, but not always. If I have a dream I want to remember Ill write it down.
Come on woman! No time like the present! We may now have one more spot for our March 20 to May 22 internship session; this is truly a life-changing program and an amazing bargain...
