About Me:
I am a professional dancer, instructor and holistic therapist. My philosophy on dance is to provide each individual with a perfect mirror image of themselves, so that they feel whole and connected. This helps to release fear and starts to build love, ultimately allowing for success in all things and acceptance of others and themselves.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
This is my first time going raw, and I am looking forward to interacting with the community here for support, and information, as well as connecting with like minded people.

RAW Day 5!

Wow, I am really enjoying this!

Some of the recipes that are helping me to stay raw are:

Garbanzo beans topped with kelp, olive oil, sea salt, and tyme. (So easy to prepare and really filling.)
Sweet treat - chopped up nuts and coconut, rolled into a batter of water, almond butter, honey, and some dates.
Fruit smoothies.
Big salads.
All kinds of fruit for snacks.
Spaggetti with zuchini and a tomatoe sauce.

Day 2 RAW and Vibrating!

Thank you all who stopped by my blog to comment and impart wisdom! I appreciate it very much. Since the post I have been raising my energy ANYTIME I feel like I want to eat junk food, and it IS working!

Eating Crap!

Wow, the last couple days have been horrible. I can't explain why I have been eating this way. I have still been having my smoothie in the morning, my apples as snacks, some raw soup, and a salad and some more fruit as snacks, but for some reason, I have ALSO been eating potatoe chips, cookies, triscits and today - pretzels with cheese.

My RAW Update

It has now been almost a month transitioning to RAW. I feel like we are still in transition as we have had a few more cooked meals this week. Instead of looking at it as a failure, I am spinning it to a learning opportunity.

My Transition To RAW

I first started with a 4 day orange juice fast. I noticed my skin cleared up, and I started losing weight. I never really weighed myself before beginning the transition, but I was between 110 and 113.

The orange juice fast was nice and I felt full...the only thing that bothered me was evenings with my husband. It seemed all the things we did together revolved around a snack of some type.
