Yes, for the fastest results we have to work on all levels simultaneously
Yeah, there's a pretty good doc out on diabetes done at the Tree of Life. One of the quickest and easiest to fix with raw. Cool to see first hand I'm sure.
Aha.
Life is good. It's always good. I'm having some fun with family (brother, sister-in-law, nephew, and mom) and having been playing keyboard with a band for summer camp. My brother is the camp director.
Lot's of cool stuff going on with the holodynamics techniques I've been putting to use. Posted a bit in my blog.
I've been helping a friend with some permaculture projects in podunk Cornville, Arizona (actually it's a nice break from the ethers of Sedona). Quite a few exciting projects on the cusp.
No I actually hadn't heard of that program, but I just looked it up and it sounds like it would be fab for you.
Hey Stacey,
thats why I am here...too...to meet people that care about the planet, others, health and spirituality! I've read all books by Neal D. Walch, they are one of my favorites, besides the ones from Abraham-Hicks.
I about an hour drive from you or so...but it seems harder to find people that are open minden about this lifestyle I am living without judgement!
By the way, great photo of you...I can't find a good one of me, so I posted one with my little angel while hiking Red Rocks.
Glad to hear you're hooked!! I've been doing green smoothies virtually every day for the last six months. I seem to like the kale and romaine the best. Presently I add blueberries and bananas with some kind of fruit juice concentrate (cherry is amazing). It's a bit more sugary then I want, but I'm not sure if the rest of the family would go for the lower sugar stuff. I usually compensate by adding more greens to mine. I'm also not all that convinced that the sugar is that bad if it's spread out over the morning (along with some exercise and sunlight). I think eating it in the evenings is the killer. So I'm curious, does your smoothie taste more medicinal, or actually something Brian would drink? ;)
I just got back from a trip to Vancouver BC. Have you been there? Very cool town.
Yeah, I'm can't say how stoked I am about starting my own little growing space. Actually it's a pretty huge city lot I'm designing . . . I've been reading some pretty amazing books on the topic lately. Do you have a window with sun or a porch? You might be able to grow a few things . . .
Tree of Life? It's on my list too. I've read and heard a lot from Gabriel Cousens as well as TOL. I have a lot of respect for him and their center. I've considered a trip there several times . . . maybe down the road. I'm sure you'd like it.
So anyway, life as usual I suppose. Lots of learning, lots of work. I've been trying to incorporate some meditation exercises into the schedule and have been finding them quite empowering . . . I've been finding the outdoor get-my-hands-dirty stuff to be quite cathartic.
I like to do fasts as well and I think the power in fasting is that its a remedial action, one part of the process of purifiying. For instance if you feel you have a lot of non-virtuous residue or spiritual obstacles to remove, you generate regret...
Loren,
Was your fast that regained your health a supervised one, and with whom? How long was your fast? What did you eat like before that?
Do you mind me asking what health challenges you were experiencing?
Who did you intern under yourself? I ...
A group for people who are still transitioning, just learned about raw, or are struggling at all and want to help each other out with tips, support, questions and answers.
don't agree with the whole raw food creating a damp environment thing because of the wildly different effects of different raw foods. i've found candida to respond to 100% raw, several different approaches.
