Its only been a month but i've really missed GI2MR//Update

I’ve missed this site. Its only been about a month but I really missed reading everyone’s blogs everyday. Life has just been so busy lately. All work and no play !!!! I made a decision in December to really look into improving my health and GI2MR has played a crucial part in making that happen. Since December I have lost about 32lbs and for me that is amazing especially since I struggle with binge eating and exercise is just a word to me. Some of my binges can be up to 8,000 calories well that w… Continue

My first completely raw week did not go as well as i would have hoped.//// How did you transition to raw? Help please

So I’ve been steering myself towards a completely raw food diet since December. I've been juicing/making green smoothies and trying new recipes in the many books on Raw food i've purchased. However I have never gone a day completely raw. I have tried to do breakfast and dinner raw and some days i do great but most day i give into temptation. So this last week i was determined to completed a raw day and that turned into 4days. I was so proud of myself and i felt great until day five. I woke up ar… Continue

Afraid of being Thin

Ok so its Easter and i have been relaxing all day. Not doing anything actually no tv, no radio just thinking. Not good in some ways. I started looking into raw food because im afraid of dying young and it being because i didnt take better care of myself. With that said, I have used my weight to hide me. I have never liked the fact that men find me attractive. I know that is a strange thing to say but its true. I developed early i went from a chubby little girl at 9 to a very shaply preteen at 11… Continue

Veggie Cravings

Ok, i must admit. I have always been one to hate veggies, Especially raw. Salad! Me! Never! I've been drinking green smoothies everyday since february because i thought i could not stomach salad. I loved the comfort of cooked food. So why did i go food shopping and purchased Organic lettuce, Avocadoes and spinach and driving i just could not stop thinking about eating them. I opened the bad of spinach and tasted a leaf. It was really good, by the time i got home i had eaten half the bag.… Continue

Try Try Try again

Ok so i've been slowly trying to transition from a meat eater to a raw vegan. I am struggling a lot. The not eating meat part is easy. Im struggling with the raw part. I do good durning the day, then i get these late night cravings and i always end up eating something i shouldnt. I've made a lot of progress and even with my late night slipups i have lost 9lbs since i started on my birthday witch was March 3. I know this is the way for me, but why is it so darn hard. I know i shouldnt eat eat Fre… Continue

You're Welcome!! You can get some guidance from those books and also use your own intuition and try different things as well. As long as you feel good internally and physically you're doing the right thing!!!

Hi, I read several books when I first started the raw lifestyle. Victoria Boutenkos books were very helpful "12 Steps to Raw Foods " and "Green For Life". The best advice that I can give you is to stick with it and listen to your body.

Also, thanks for the compliment!!!
