Eggplant

i cant find a raw recipe that i like. i just dont like it raw. i think i like more of a crunch to my raw foods, eggplant is just too rubbery for me lol

No, just juiced. I used to like raw sweet potato chopped/grated but lately I've found the fiber upset my stomach so I'd rather have it juiced or cooked.

You could make a raw soup, Juice a few carrots and put the carrot juice in a blender with chopped up sweet potatoes and shredded coconut and a dash of nutmeg, could be a good dessert also.

hello Sharon try a banana or 2 depend on your appetite needs and how much exercise you will be doing try 2 bananas blend with 1 tsp of maca 1 tsp of cacao and maybe some protein powder(sunwarrior) you could throw in 2 T of soaked chia 4-5 stalks...

a diabetic raw foodies daily menu

okay so you've heard me spout off about eating alkaline, and eating raw etc it is true i have chosen to eat this way, and i actually enjoy it.
the results of my efforts are fantastic to say the least, 'standard deviation' is more like 'hardly any deviation' as my blood sugars barely rise up above normal non-D values.and fasting readings are just amazing.

so I thought a sample menu might help to explain how i 'do it'.

I bought a cheap Oster 16 speed blender (like $25) about a year ago and it does magic. Sort of small, but blends everything I need and leaves my green smoothies smoooooth. Even blends whole nuts =] Oh yeah!
