Hey all! I wanted to tell you about this place I tried recently in Frazier PA called Oasis Cafe. It serves mainly raw vegan food and has a little store to accompany the cafe. It was cool because it also served non-raw foods so my family wasn't as ...
Comes the call
Chiseled on each Prankster eyeball
in Lincoln gothic
As we moan
In this graveyard among moonstone tombstones
with a philosophic
It's your ass-
Can you pass the Acid Test?
Babbs and Kesey swaying
In a California graveyard, baying
deep
In the synch
Zonked on LSD on the brink
freaking steep
Of a missionary quest:
Can you pass the Acid Test?
Tombstones!
Vaults, coffins and bald carbon-dated bones
A dream transfusion
From the community Breast:
Can you pass the Acid Test?
The group mind
Flying high, Major, but not blind
in the moonshine
Was inspired
With the ceremony that would be required
in the moon shot
To extend
The Prankster message to the ends
Of the earth. A mindfest:
a moon ship
The Acid Test.

Hey, thanks! I definitely love Lucien Freuds' work and how painterly and sculpting his brush strokes are. That self-portrait was left as more of a sketch; kind of experimental in combining my drawing and painting styles. I will post more of my stuff as i find the time and figure out where I can utilize a large scanner... any ideas?
Beautiful photographs by the way... Love the Dog's eye and the atmospheric pieces :)
Hey Steph!
I know exactly what you mean :) I skipped through the website and I've never been there since. I still want to work with his book, and I think it's better, if I don't know, what he is doing now.
He said, that he thinks it is his life purpose to get the knowledge of raw food out there. For me he has fulfilled his purpose, by writing that book.
Still kind of sad though....
I had the same experience with "Barefoot Doctor's Handbook For The Urban Warrior" - Great book, terrible site...
I hate commercials so bad, but on the other hand, I work in the "biz"... I want to create meaningful things, and I do... but still, it's where my money comes from... I guess it all has a contradiction somewhere...
Wolfe as in David. I read the sunfood diet system and liked it a lot... I'm not too sure though what to think of his website and all the stuff you should buy there...
And yeah when Im heading down to Philly, i'll let you know. And im constantly in nyc, so if your ever in the area, we should meet up and grab some raw foods in one of nyc's amazing raw food restaurants.
To answer your questions, i started yoga because i had arthritis and hated going to physical therapy, so i took up yoga, and fell in love with every aspect of it. And as far as raw foods, it started with me going into nyc as a vegan and trying out quintessence( a raw foo restaurant) not knowing it was a raw food restaurant. And i loved the food there and started doing the research. That just ignited this sort of raw food obsession, and that, too, i have loved ever since.
oh, and, your quote stuck out to me, its like something i've been trying to express in simpler terms, and that just helped me out soo much, thank you!
Everyone is different & there is no Perfect diet. Only what works for you as an individual. Best advice I can give is to listen to your body, make a firm decision as to what you think will provide your body with the most nutrients as well as satis...
Ever since I have changed my habits (ie. eating, working out, drinking water) I have noticed that my sleep has gotten better. I now sleep around 6 hours a night, no tossing and turning, just restful sleep. The amount surprises me, because before I...
