Hey, Sarma ... thought you'd like to know that the woman who rowed solo (yes, rowed alone!) across the Atlantic Ocean is coming to dinner tonite at PF&W. She just completed her second leg of an attempt to be the first woman to row solo across the Pacific (from Hawaii to Tarawa two weeks ago; the first leg was from San Francisco to Hawaii). Anyway, she mentions having dinner at Pure Food & Wine in her blog, as I told her she HAD to check it out whilst she's in NYC! Hope you're there tonight (Thurs., 9/24) 'cos I'd love to have you sign your new book for me.

hi! Do you serve raw meat also? My husband ate his first raw steak this weekend. He just seared it slightly.

"unfortunately omega 3s sourced from plant oils are inefficient to metabolize and have been themselves implicated in cancer" Does "plant oils" mean from sea vegetables and such too? Does that mean that fish is really the only way to get highly ass…

Yeah basically the most powerful way to protect yourself against cancer is by reducing the amount of meat you eat per day to less than three ounces or eliminating meat all-together.

Hi Rabbit Man! I really like your response! I also think underlying all of this there is a perception (A very American one) that meat is plentiful and easy to get, and even cheap. Other sources of protein don't really exist, make you weak, are expen…
