- About Me:
- Been aware of Raw since summer of 08 and have swung back and forth between Sad and mostly raw diet. For some it works to be 100%, and for others like me, 80% is perfect.
Ok so I am a deep and magical being who emanates feelings truly from the heart everyday. But I'm kinda like a big kid. I seem to get along better with kids than adults! lol kids and animals just kinda are drawn to me, so what can i do?
What I really want most in life is to have a family of my own (currently a single mom to a seven year old boy: we have the most awesome relationship), I want to live on a farm or ranch (something like that), and be able to travel!
Anyways, id love to hear everyone else's story!

- Favorite Raw Food or Recipe?
- Bananas are the staple for sure! But wanna try that avo-choco stuff! Agave nectar (just love the word "nectar" coz i feel like a hummingbird thinking about it!)
- Interests (outside of Raw Food):
- TRAVELING, meeting people from all over the world, swimming, hiking, camping, trying to reach manifestation goals, learning, astrology, kids, the elderly, and one day living in French Polynesia!
Oh and i forgot to mention I absolutely LOVE animals
Oh yes and I love meditation now, but want to keep improving

- jane austen, dan millman, 80/10/10, Linda Goodman, The Shack, The Bible, probably need to read more coz all I read lately are childrens books!

so many new ppl!!
Wow i have been on GITMR for about 20 minutes and i literally keep seeing new people joining over to my right side of the screen! Is this normal now? How in the world is this happening?

Honestly, I love my my little ones soooo much, but I do feel a little guilty, as there are so many dogs in need of homes at shelters. The thing that is difficult for me, is I feel very connected to this breed and because they are so rare, they are not at shelters :). Which ultimately is a good thing. Breeders of AKK generally tend to be very responsible and don't do it for the money. If for some reason you can not take care of an AKK any longer, you sign papers that you would return it to the breeder...... Although that's rare because they go through such a lengthy process to screen individuals for suitable homes. You fill out an application and often wait on a waiting list for some time. I heard of one woman who waited 5 yrs for her dog! She was very specific on what she wanted and didn't mind waiting. AKK owners are intense like that :).
Yea, they probably would not do so well in high heat, as they have a double coat.

- uh oh. that doesn't sound good. i hope everything is okay!! i was at my mom's tonight and she made cousous and stirfried veggies annnddd there was cabernet... ughhh so much for my first day 100% hahaha.. oh well. tomorrow's a new day. keep me posted on how you're doing... let me know when you get back! good luck with everything :)
