it prevents bloating! it is a crucial part of my diet...Seawater contains every mineral available on earth, and so it goes into the seaweed too. It is amazing stuff. It seems expensive, but it grows a lot when you soak it, and u really don't need ...
the Japanese say Kombu for men, Wakame for women. I like em all and a really nutritious one is bladderwrack. Raw bulk nori is also nutrient-dense. Dulse comes purple and red. yummy...

Since you're in the NYC area, I thought I'd extend you an invitation. I'm trying to get a group of people from on here to go on a foraging tour in Central Park on Sunday, May 11 with Wildman Steve Brill. It's from 11:45 to 3:45. A few people have already said yes. Let me know if you're interested. It'd be a great way to spend a Sunday and meet some new people.
Hey sarah, I haven't seen you around here lately. I hope your doing good and you've finished with finals and ready to have some raw fun around town. Summer is almost here!
Wow Sarah thanks so much for all the info. The sites were very helpful. I have to admit I am a little intimidated about starting the process! Do you know anyone completed it and of all the choices out there on fasting and raw lifestyle what drew you to this choice. I am so intrigued and curious to the emotional journey associated with this. By the way I looked at Moutain Rose Herbs and it is a great site, although I wasn't able to find E3 and the others, was I in the wrong place???
Hi Sarah - congrats on the courage to embark on the feast. Do you find it difficult to plan each day? Where can I find out more information about starting it?
Wow, congrats on day 9! I am not feasting...but drinking about 2 green juices each day and eventually, when I feel ready - i'll probably do it. I am not sure about 92 days...but i'll try for 30 days first! You are doing awesome! Keep it up!
Come on woman! No time like the present! We may now have one more spot for our March 20 to May 22 internship session; this is truly a life-changing program and an amazing bargain...
Thanks Priyam! You are very kind and generous with your appreciation, and I appreciate the specificity. I agree with you completely that fasting is generally very poorly understood, mostly feared, and almost always avoided.
Though someone once su...
Hey Michele! We fast 8-10 people per year for 6 weeks and most of them have amazing experiences. Incidentally, though some people imagine there's a need to "work up" to a long fast like this, many are fasting this long for the first time; in fact,...
We dont want organic pasteurized, that is the same as conventional to us. Its been treated with something to kill it because that it what people do kill beautiful things it seems. Dead people.
Hi Jeff,
Every organism is completely self-healing. When sick or badly injured enough, every species will lie down and rest completely. Fasting itself has no curative power, but when we stop processing food (the single most energy expensive proce...
OMG
steamed? I needed a nutcracker to open them and it was really hard to get them opened. You think? My pristine lips touched something that was steamed>??
