Id agree with the importance place here on the colon.
Ive been eating bentonite clay while fasting and have really felt like ive eliminated alot of old stuff that could have just been being re-absorbed through my colon. Also the importance of some...
Sorry... MSM is a sulfur supplement. The theory goes that because our foods are irrigated instead of mainly rain watered (which contains sulfur), that our foods are lacking sulfur content. Sulfur in the amino acid Cystine (which is abundant in gar...
i've been learning about how colon health effects the skin. i think for a while i was technically constipated and had breakouts on my chin area as an indication. There are other signs for this as well. You might look into it. I also love dry brush...
havent read thru the replies,so heres my two cents Samantha..
I use to have cystic acne, big hard lumps all over the right side of my face, and under my jaw,it was a miserable time...this is before i went to raw foods..which in turn helped to balan...
I would imagine if you wear make-up, then you have to wash it off. I think olive oil is good at removing make-up though, just slather it on and wipe it off with a cloth. Personally though, I could see my face getting clogged from that.
There is a homeopathic remedy called sulphur, along with MSM and flax oil internally should really help. Im not sure if you are oily or dry skinned but shea butter works great on dry skin and french clay mixed with avocado, lemon, and a bit of hon...

well i first finally decided i would go to hawaii and not any of my other dozen choices, so then i started searching online and asked a couple of friends and i found this site about hawaii hostels and eco villages and i eventually landed on cinderland. It is on the big island and i called them up and the man was extremely nice and informative. He had so much to say about hawaii, since i've never been before. It is moving towards a raw community which is good too. I am leaving in like 5 days and someone from the farm is picking me up at the airport to even bring me to the village/ farm. And it's mad cheap to stay if you don't do work exchange. Anything else let me know! www.cinderland.org and there myspace page has a lot of info too. I dont have a myspace but i could still look at it.
Thanks. There are supportive, loving individuals within the raw community. If you see someone goes out of line let Dhrumil know. He will take care of it. The thing is on that particular thread I was surprised that someone would be thick headed about my own personal choice that I have discovered for myself.
Check out the Sherpa Program its a group on this blog.
Hi I just want to say thanks a lot for your comment on the thread, "High fat raw diet and body fat loss?" I was simply trying to say that there are people including me who are thriving on greens and still people are sticking to their own monolithic mindset. Thanks.
im confused. matt monarch swears by regular colonic hydrotherapy. its his no.1 raw tip, didn't think it could be dangerous but now it kind of makes sense. enemas seem much more natural in comparison.
I've heard great, great things about Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Fort Bragg, CA. I know that isn't really in the Los Angeles area, but it's still in CA and I believe they provide students the option to stay in their 'Living Light Inn'....
The way I see it is that generally people who label themselves are confident of the path they have chosen while, also generally, people don't don't label aren't quite as sure if what they're following is the right way to go.
