A strict Tabata workout is indeed brutal, but luckily, the principle still works with modified timings to increase rest cycles. My favorite high intensity interval workout is hill sprints.

About Me:
What happens when you combine a raw vegan diet and athletics? Would this diet give you greater endurance and strength? Would it allow you to recover faster? I believe that the answer to these questions is a resounding YES. To give validity to this claim, I am documenting my attempt to be the first human to break the 4 minute mile barrier at the age of 40 on an outdoor track. If all this is possible, will other athletes take note? Will they consider whole fruits and veggies over steroids? Join me on my journey of discovery, as I attempt to change the way we all look at food, by Running Raw.

Lock and Load

Somehow 2009 has managed to zoom to the halfway point in the calendar and I find myself firmly entrenched in my 41st year. The race that I’ve been training for since January is now finally staring me square in the face. The USA Mountain Running Championships and North American-Central American-Caribbean (NACAC) Mountain Running Championships are to take place tomorrow, June 28th at 9:00am at Mt. Cranmore in North Conway, NH.

Speed Works!

This past Sunday at the Northfield Mtn. Race (New England Trail Championships) I felt like I had been hit by a truck. The two weeks prior had been incredibly stressful. I had been helping to organize the first ever stair climb up the Bennington Battle Monument, which included hosting three people coming from CA and IL, who could no longer stay at my house due to the large i… Continue

Yeah basically the most powerful way to protect yourself against cancer is by reducing the amount of meat you eat per day to less than three ounces or eliminating meat all-together.
