How are you? The coconut oil is awesome. I can't believe I never used it before. I remember my aunts would give the little kiddies a bath and slather coconut oil all over them...it never clicked. hahahaha, oh well, now I know (=
Hi Rick. I noticed your comment on Nimisha's page.... "I supplement with food-based supplements but mostly I consume chlorophyll rich grass juice powdered superfoods (I avoid the spirulina, chlorella and algae greens) like barley, alfalfa, wheat, oat and kamut grasses." I am curious why you avoid spirulina, chlorella and algae greens? I am always learning and would be interested to hear your opinion. Thanks. (=^_^=)
Hey rick i totally agree. in fact when you do a slow transition its more easier to deal with the detox symptoms. the aid rain seems interesting, haven't put much thought on it before on how it will impact the minerals in the soil. but now i will be more aware on it. esp since i was planning to have my own garden some time in the future. so what kind of yoga do you do? i went a couple of time to bikram yoga but now getting interested in hatha yoga.
I see that you are an apartment sproutmaster. I want to learn how to do sprouting. It seems intimidating. Perhaps you can share some tips? My fav is sunflower sprouts. (=^_^=)
Hi Rick,
I'll be a light & casual friend, I really am a Goddess. :) I hope you do find that special Goddess!
And lucky you for getting to go to Pure Food & Wine. The foods I have prepared from Sarma's book are so yummy!
And they are raw?? I feel like I have seen them at TJ's but for some reason I did not think they were raw. This is exciting. That sounds so good right now.
I was at my friends
tonight and she had a pack and I opened one up with a nutcracker, omg. Is it a nut? Its so meaty and you don't have to cook or boil. I was so happy. I took them with me to my new house and I love them.
Have you ever??
2 apples
10 pineapple guavas
small cup steamed, sprouted black beans with raw spinach, pepper, tomato, cilantro (no salt)
2 sticks celery
6 red bananas
10 more pineapple guavas
7 satsuma tangerines
1 pomegranate
10 dates
I have not used the stuff for years, it gives me heart palpitations.
but when I did use the stuff my 1st choice was liquid (especially the flavored ones they have like toffee)
2nd choice: white, which is more processed, but I can not even stomach ...

How has your year been so far?
If I may ask, what is/are your favorite raw foods for cold weather? I tend to use a lot of fresh grated spices to heat things up.
