Good research Jennifer. Yeah the whole field of spirituality and self-transformation is littered with the type of garbage that Brenda Fox is spouting. She's another saleswoman trying to make easy money off the gullible, but she packages her rheto...

Ken, can you post a meal plan for your average day? I'm very curious about cases where people initially thrive on a raw food diet but eventually feel lackluster.

Hello , FractaLove ... through all you have written , I have to say you might be at AYURVEDA , the VATA ( Air_Aether ) Type , Constitution .

Have a look .

Absolutely all the features and symptoms of . Like myself .

I go on , on RAW now , because in another way , I feel realy good ... but after leaving them on Appel Vinnager or pouring them quickly on warm water .

But I have to say , that , when I was following ONLY the Vata Diet from Ayurveda , I was totally OK . Even the pains desappead .

RAW is , a piori , is absolutly healthy . But for VATA Types , not . So , Nutrition Complements are needed , once cooked food loose in nutrients .

And also , at AYURVEDA , the diet is totally individual ... it is done after a very long examination of the 'person-individual '... even including Acumpucture methods to check what kind of illnes or tendencies one has . Everything . It takes a certain time , but it worth while .

I have lost 5 Kilos in 7 days only eating cooked potatoes with GHEE . I was overweighted ( and I was always very thin ) because of false medications I ' HAD ' to take ( they were imposed at hospitals ... ) , that disturbed my whole system . So , it was not FAT I had on my body , as I thought , but Water Accumulation ... and it was in a fase when I was eating , I could say , only tomatoes and apples , in a natural way .

No MedDoctors or Nutrition Coaches gave the answer then ... this , the answer , came from a Biologist ! ... whose PhD was exactly Nutrition Issues ... Afterwards I went on with Ayurveda MedDrs.

Check it . I really think you are a VATA type . Sensible ...

... and this Fractal shows it , as well . I love Fractals ... in plants they are beautiful ...

This PHOTO I have on this Site ( it was surprise from a friend ... wet haired , after swimming ) I was like this , overweighted ... two years ago .

So , I have lost the WATER in all my 7 tissues ( we have 7 tissues ) , caused by methabolism disturbance due to the mentioned false medications , in going through cooked potatoes and sweet vegetables and cooked barley , specially . And also : I was far more grounded than normally ...

So , all the best ... Light to you .

Hi again Fractalove - just lettign you know I REALLY think the GS's (especially made with tough veg like kale) were causing me big problems, irritating the entire intestine, causing constant diarrhea and therefore losing a LOT of nutrients - all of which can dfefinitley cause the symptoms you mentioned like skin problems, nerve problems etc.

Hi Fractalove - I'm just a toddler learning to walk, maybe we all are throughout life! I'm just experimenting on myself. I was 3 years on an organic Paleo-style, no-grain diet (details of what I ate are on the paleo discussion board) diet but ended up with neuropathy and looking and feeling tired. Starting to eat Essene ryebread at lunchtime (instead of fastgin all day on green tea improved the neuropathy a lot and I immediately looked fresher and slept mroe deeply. I'd originally given up grains to control IBS, which it did.

I then got interested in raw food and changed my fruit+protein+cookedveg breakfast to fruit+GS, lunch to Essene ryebread+sweetcorn+banana (larger quantities, polus an extra GS, on days I'm running), pre-dinner lots of celery, dinner had always been a big salad 5x/wk (Mon-Thu, Sat) and I changed the meat/fish for havign a yoghurt-flaxoil dressing on the salad instead. Sometimes I put mung/lentil sprouts on the salad, or eat a few handfuls of them at breakfast. After dinner I usually eat some ground flax (just eat it plain!).

The other 2 dinners/wk would be a cooked Asian meal with brown rice or sometimes fish + salad at a restaurant.

This is a long way from being vegan or even vegetarian - sorry about that! It's been really great until I developed a rash around my eyes in January after adding extra ingredients to my morning GS (olive leaf, tarragon, whole unpeeled cucumber, fresh turmeric).

The rash got MUCH worse when I tried 12 days on 100% raw vegan (extra GS at lunch to replace Essene bread, lots of sprouts + tahini dressing with salad) and I got dark circles and instant lines around my eyes and tiredness. In short, it was a disaster! This was not a quick "detox" - it got steadily worse, every single day, with no let-up, until it became intolerable. My body simply did not wnat that diet!

Anyway, I have to go back to what worked so very well for most of last year (i.e. fruit, corn, Essene ryebread, some GS, some yoghurt, celery, salads, flax, cooked meals maybe 2x/wk), but first i HAVE TO get rid of the rash - tried eliminating everything until finally tried having no GS for 2 days just now, and finally that is working. I think the raw ground kale, especially, has been causing problems. The GS's were causing bad IBS too - the loose type.

Well, that's my moderate-range diet - hope it's some help!

Hi Resisting Entropy!! Thanks for all your sweet words!!

Here is the website! http://www.sacredinspiration.com/

Everything is so synchronistic...you just downloaded singin bowls, and I just received my very first tibetan singing bowl from a friend on Saturday! I LOVE IT! It sounds so pretty. I've been playing it every day.

Jodi is such a blessing. She is the one my bowl is from. I hope she has shows nearby so you can experience the transformative love vibration that she shares.

Much Love,
Tawni

I know of a Tibetan Bowl player in your area!! She is an awesome person. Her name is Jodi Roberts, and I see you are into shamanism. She is on a shamanic path, and is very in tune. She has concerts, and does private sessions. Would you like her website?

My friend surprised me with one of Jodi's tibetan bowls yesterday, as a gift. I have been playing it, and WOW. It is so healing!
