Profile Information

About Me:
In 1988 I started getting very sick and was eventually diagnosed with a very rare, incurable disease called mastocytosis. I found the raw food diet to be the answer to all my prayers. Since then, I have been sharing the knowledge I have gained in making this lifestyle fun and easy with the added bonus of delicious food! My latest efforts in spreading the word are in the completion of the book, "Transitioning to Living Cuisine". The Program Introduction is available to view at my website, www.reneoswald.com
My calling is to share all that I have learned about nutrition and the living foods lifestyle with others and to one day have an affordable Living Foods Retreat Center.
I have been given the gift of health and a second change at life and am anxious to share this information with as many people as possible.

The "Scoop" on Coconut Creme

http://reneoswald.com or http://rawfoodrene.com

In my previous blog post I used Coconut Cream Concentrate in the Fruity Irish Creme Pie.

Are Grains Good For Us?

This was a recent question from my blog at www.reneoswald.com/blog
Hi Rene,
I’ve been eating lots of spouted wheat berries in so many recipes. I use them in crackers, cookies, burgers, as a breakfast cereal—tossed with raisins and bananas or other fruits or just tossed into a… Continue

Hi Rene, I made my first green smoothie today, but I have a question. I work out regularly and lift weights too - what do you recommend for adding protein to the smoothie to maintain proper muscle building? Thanks!
