I wish you had more info. I love reading survivor stories. I know that there are some animal livers that humans should avoid but I'm doubting it was the liver or overdose that actually killed him though. I'm convince your body takes over & know wh...

I notice your post in the smoothies v. juice discussion about fruit sugar, and thought I would throw you a couple links I've found useful. There's definitely a lot of discussion about whether we should eat fruit or not around here! I've eaten nothing but fruit and some greens for 3 months and I know now by experience that this is the best diet for me... and I certainly haven't got candida overgrowth or cancer yet!
Sorry for the delayed reply, I have recently moved house… further west actually, Woodlands Park, oh my goodness so so magical, I have lost myself going for long walks with the baby in the beautiful bush setting, we hadn’t even got the phone and internet on until today (6 weeks into it!), but I do like to be reclusive at times.
Yeah, pretty cold at the moment to say the least! You can tell when it’s snowing down the line, makes raw much harder, have been aiming for 85% per day, not doing too badly, but do like to eat roast kumara, been baking then they slide out of the skin, convenient for me and bubba, but still drink tones of green smoothies, baby and I have a morning ritual of going out to the garden to gather greens and then he washes them for me, cute!
Thanks for the note about Earth Seed in Glen Eden having raw essene Sultana buns, can’t wait to try.
No, I don’t have a dehydrator yet been using the oven on low, but do want to get one at some stage.
Follow through by Gavin Degraw is one of my favourite songs too.
All the best for trying to pick up in the freezy weather
Your dog is sooo cute! I have a dog too and two cats, and I looove them! I feed them wheatgrass and they actually choose that before regular grass wich they normally chew on in the garden.
I decided to have a 50/50 raw/cooked meal at Vita last night, having had a desire for warm meals for last couple of weeks. They had a Vegan Paella, it was amazing but it's only the second time I have had grains for a year and I had headache soon a...
It's actually surprisingly easy once you get the hang of it. No machete required. Shave off the husk at the pointed top close to the shell. Then poke the point of a knife in about 2 or 3 cm out from the centre and wiggle it about until it pierces ...
Yes, I believe two out of the four pineapples I've had the last several months have been alright with me, after having let them "ripen" for some days. The one that turned out the best was one I stored in a bag of ripening bananas. I did the same t...
