I'm putting together a Facebook page with photos. Most of the good ones are on this site, so pleas direct Stessa there. I'd love to chat about it, other rawfood groups/retreat/eco-adventure/healthy tours come to my place called Jewel of the Sun. Its in the South Pacific region. See the photos for a good start and get in touch by email...emrivkin@gmail.com

Hi Ray,
Thanks for the complements on the pics. The sunset is unretouched taken right from the rancho in Costa rica. I hope you and friends visit someday. As for the cashews, if one is careful, you can pry the kernel out of the shell without getting hardly any oil on it, as I learned how. The oil is not that bad really, but if you expose yourself for several hours like a cashew factory worker would. I wipe hands frequently as a precaution. The kernels are a "living food" at this point being a viable sprout, much preferred over dried. You could come down in Feb and try some fresh cashews out. The juice from the apple is refreshing, I mix with coconut and banana. Pax.
hi! now i am not a beach body coach or even a member actually. i just started p90x a bit ago, i am on my 7th week. so far i feel stronger and can do a little more, but i have actually gained weight. haha. story of my life. take care!
don't agree with the whole raw food creating a damp environment thing because of the wildly different effects of different raw foods. i've found candida to respond to 100% raw, several different approaches.
I like to do fasts as well and I think the power in fasting is that its a remedial action, one part of the process of purifiying. For instance if you feel you have a lot of non-virtuous residue or spiritual obstacles to remove, you generate regret...
probably detox...detox is interesting and creative. thanks for the strength of putting it all out there! it takes a lot to stick with it when the body cleanses. you can do it though i can tell you know it....8^))
you need to whack it right around the top of the coconut with either a heavy handled knife or a machete..im an expert now and crack open those babies in no time....
are you having to take off the outer green shell,or just crack open the white coc...
we are hugely blessed to have Loren here i so agree...
ahh complete rest with eyes closed....sounds wonderful...just the not eating part for that long,i guess after a while you would lose your 'hunger' anyway ??
i would say give it time...if you are feeling flu like symptoms i would say you are detoxing...40 days isnt a long time, when you consider how long you havent been 100% well..your body will heal and clean house in its own time....
