Rabindranath Tagore

Profile Information

About Me:
I'm an artist and graphic designer. I also work with essential oils. I believe plants are our teachers and medicine. I miss the rural landscape and the wild places.

I am healing my body with much gratitude through The Body Ecology Diet. While raw foods are certainly important in this diet, I have learned there is far more to digestive balance and health than simply eating raw foods.

For me, The Body Ecology Diet is an extension of intuitive eating and profound self caring.

I am enjoying qigong, reiki, plant medicine, and a healing diet.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
Inspiration and community. Advice on healing. I am also interested in all exposés regarding the corruption of science and medicine caused by big industries and government agendas.
Relationship Status:
Married
Favorite Raw Food or Recipe?
My daily big salads, cultured veggies, and twists of lemon and lime.
Interests (outside of Raw Food):
Art, dioramas, graphic design, dance, yoga, qigong, metaphysics, mindbenders, rhinestone tiaras, vintage gold necklaces and rings, plant medicine, medicinal oils (essential oils or aromatherapy), listening to trees and plants, finding a more natural pace in the world.

I also love clothes. I love putting together outfits inspired by 30s and 40s vintage with contemporary "clean lines" and colors that remind of me of the sea, stones, forests, and earth. I like mixing old and new, earthy and sparkly.

I am also interested in energy types and how they relate to illness, creativity, and life purpose.

FDA might ban all natural dessicated thyroid meds, including Armour. Does anyone know more info. on this?

I read this on Mercola's website, and then followed some personal stories on Facebook (there is a page dedicated to saving natural thyroid medicine) where people went to refill their thyroid medicine and were told it's unavailable now.

Does anyone know anything else about this?

From Mercola's site:

Major Pharmaceuticals has put out a press release saying that they've been forced to shut down production of all natural desiccated thyroid drugs, a treatment for hypothyroidism that has bee… Continue

Sure! :) I lived on Endicott Lane in Longfellow until I was 8 then we moved to Faulkner Ridge. I remember my friends and I just all wanted to get the heck out of Columbia when we were in school. Later as we got older, most of us realized what a cool and special place it was. My parents still live there, in fact we took our daughter to the fireworks at the lake this past July, what fun. A LOT more people than when I was a kid.

I don't know too much about Mantak Chia but the little I've heard is good:) Elainie/buddhababy is a fan of his.

I've been taking Armour and it helps but I still want to treat the underlying cause of my issues, which is really adrenal fatigue.
There is a phosphatidlyserine cream that the thyroid book recommends that I think I'm going to try: http://www.ovitaminpro.com/adrenacalm.html?productid=adrenacalm&channelid=FROOG

Hey girl! I'm reading an amazing book on thyroid treatment. It has sooo much info I've never seen before and none of the protocols involve using hormones unless the gland has been destroyed. The Dr. identifies 6 different kinds of hypothyroidism and also goes into Hashimoto's and how to treat it as an autoimmune disease, not a thyroid condition. The book talks a lot about gut health too:)

Lol. I was looking through your photos and saw his watercolour painting of the boat, very beautiful indeed. I just assumed you would be inspired because of the skill level involved.

Yes Richters painting are so beautiful. Are you moved by Alex Greys paintings? Have you read
One of my favourite books on art, and life

I love painting too, ive just started art school here in Glasgow, doing sculpture and environmental art. Doing a lot of research at the moment on artists so it would be great if you could share some more names with me, or even books you have read on art or artists which inspired you massively.

Thank you :)

Thank you! first I build a wire armature, then build over it with polymer or air dry clay, or this stuff called aves apoxy sculpt. I add bits at a time and let cure, or blast with a heat gun for a few minutes, then sculpt more. I smooth with small stylus, filbert brushes and needle tools :)

Nah, I bought it cuz it was cheap, compared to all the other nut butters. The packaging could have been in zebra stripes and I'd have still bought it.

dancing in city is more western kind of thing but if we happen to go to the countryside and touch the tribal areas we could get the real taste of the culture :)
