Most powerful raw food experience has been going to the Tree of Life in Patagonia Az. I was there for appx 4 months. I took their raw chef program, worked in the green house, attended a lot of the meditations and music.
I had severe pain in my hips and knees from arthritis which may have been caused by lyme disease. I used to hike a lot. Going raw there really worked for me because it was basically no sugar. They use a little agave on weekends. I had green juice daily which had a lot of cucumbers in it. They have been proven to dissolve deposits in joints which I felt like I had.
I would recommend anyone who has diabetes or arthritis to follow the phase one diet by Dr. Gabriel Cousins. If you do not stray form it you are very likely to heal from many diseases. On top of tht meditation and practicing a positive attitude- particularily gratitude can be important factors in healing. Next would be forgiving people who you feel have hurt you and openly communicating with people in your present life who may be affecting you negatively. And after you have been successful with these levels- seek out supportive people who understand were you are now coming from. Making new friends and letting ones go who do not support your healthy lifestyle.
Look for the little miracles and beauty in life. They are all around you!

Powerful Parsley!
Hi!
I just read up on how powerful Parsley is and I wanted to share because it is truely amazing! I was also inspired by a super easy treat I made with it. I usually make tabouli every so often with the leaves and this time I had 3 bunches of stems I wanted to do something with. I stuffed the blender full of them and added 3 cloves of garlic, a small amount of nuts and some oil and vinegar. It was parsley pesto! It is so goodI have been putting it on top of everything. I have been talking to Rama about his community plan privately. I wanted to put this up here because people don't see the groups very often and what is going on. Info on this needs to be in several places to really get some notice. It is such an amazing idea. I am wondering how many people would consider living in a community in India that is really laid back- raw but follow your bliss kind of thing. Yes- they're called petechiae and I've always heard that they are liver-related. They can also be due to anemia and low platelet count. If you also bruise easily, that might be the likely cause.
I get them too and they come and go.

I used to get those. I know exactly what they look like - they are tiny, they can vary in size, they are circular, flat, and very red. They do look like blood blisters, but flat!
