I'm Irish by blood. A registered nurse by trade. Currently completing advanced degrees in Nursing as well as Holistic Nutrition.
I love international travel but a weekend trip to see the World's Largest Ball of Twine is good too. I have lived in several places but now divide my time between NYC and Latvia, where there are some beautiful acres in the process of becoming a permaculture reality.
A good humanitarian project is where the party is! Been on a few medical missions and aid conveys..let me tell you. Nothing better. I'm interested in learning about all sorts but the closer to Northern and Eastern Europe, the better. I need to start remembering my camera...I'm hoping to have some new pictures to post after June 2009 so if you remember, check back.

Yeah I just got on here again after being off for months. I'm re-invigorated with raw again. So Belgium is where Uni of Kent is, in Brussels. I'm *pretty* sure I'll be going. I got accepted, but need to make sure the student loans cover everything including my our flights. I'm so stoked, but I need to remain calm in case it doesn't work out.
When do you go back to the L country? I forgot which one. And, I forgot you have a son, how old? Mine's 7 =)
Around here, well, all is well as I see it, but maybe in need of a few more engaging topics. It's ok though and good to see some new people about and commenting. As for me, I'm well and happy to have (somehow) managed to move a few projects forward at a good pace. I spent most of a week, last month, in NYC...probably walked right past you at some point : ) This is the part where I beg you to pop in here more frequently and let us have your thoughts. Would be good for you and better for us….no?! : )
When you say park, are you referring to Central Park? Years ago, my last NYC apartment was rather close and I spent many a day happily lost in the park. It's like an old friend now whenever I visit and I have to spend at least a few hours there every time I do. Good for the soul.
I do know that kind of crazy. Been a long time since for me though. I find myself in an extended calm period thankfully, lately. Sure it could change….but I don’t want it to ! (except for the days immediately after returning from the city, when I wish I never left. Soon fades…..) I do hope you’ll find time to take good care of yourself between all the busy. It’s a must right?
Hi there! I was just reading your profile... I am curious as to where you are getting your degree in Holistic Nutrition. I am currently an (undergrad) nutrition student and was thinking I'd like to go on to get an advanced degree in H.N. but don't know where it's offered. Thank you!!
What criticism did I proffer? All I said was that I didn't like how it's only half raw now. And some of their dishes I don't like, but some I do. Just like how I like your plain left arm versus your crazily tattooed right arm. And look at you finally adding some more photos... that is, until you decide to delete them again because online chaps might be saving your pic into some archive for potential stalkers. Paranoid freak.

Baby, this answer rocks. I understand it completely. I did quite a lot of pills over a 2 year period in my 20s and got to experience all of what you described in your 1st paragraph. When I keep my raw diet pure and stay away from nuts, I feel the ...

I think most people want to do this because they need attention, not because it really turns them on... maybe different for the people watching? personally don't want any more secreted bodily fluids to avoid in the city.. isn't there enough piss e...
Full disclosure - I work as a therapist.
Yes, it helps.
But you should know that the value of it can't be described by the speed of the healing process or whether you're looking or seeming perfect. Therapy is about coming to terms and coming back...
I always used to get sick on foods from restaurants, but the same meal I prepared at home wouldn't make me sick.... restaurants tend to drown foods in butter and oils, you've probably been eating less of those since going on those diet.
Finally reconciled with my mother two years before she split the scene at the age of 95. Load off my mind.
She was tough, tough, tough, tough.
Jewish mother nagging shit, non-fucking-stop. Always fresh to her, always Hell to me.
Wow that's got to be tough. I think I would set myself on fire if I had to live with or near either one of my parents. I'm going to try to keep distance from them & keep a diary. Thank you for the support RGG
It hasn't faded any yet, but I've only heard of problems with some of the phosphorus inks and ours don't have any in. But who knows, the approved UV inks have only been out a few years and they're more expensive so not a lot of people take the opt...

I have checked for you since November and was excited to see you pop back in with the new pic. It's a good one.
Now we just need to convince you to throw some words about..... ; )
