It was great to meet you at RSF, I will surely be traveling to Seattle sometime soon. I really want to be there for the opening of Thrive! I would also like to start a network in Oregon like the Raw Network of Washington, so if you can help me in any way I would love that. Thanks so much, and talk soon.

Hello, Rawbecca! Great to meet you!
Just read on your blog that you are going to Raw Fest. Me too! I am so excited. This will be my firts time. I am fairly new at this and still doing cooked food here and there, have a ton of questions, so hoping that this festival will bring on some answers. Would love to be part of some potlucks and gatherings some place here, in the southend of big Seattle. Would love to meet you in person! I think all of us are going through the same questions.

I'm good, and so is the boy :) Finally finished school in June, and got a new job in April, so have been very distracted! I want to find a fit and get more involved, but it just hasn't happened yet! How is Josh? and the house? I will find you on FB :)

Hey! Long time...I'm doing good, but haven't been too involved in the RF scene lately. How about you? I would love to see you soon!

Currently, I'm in Renton - but we're moving further north since our office is moving (Bothell/Woodinville area). Oh, I wish I was actually IN Seattle, but that will happen again in the future. Right now, we (boyfriend & I) are just more concerned about the commute than anything. Potlucks sound fun. I am not the biggest social butterfly, which is why these online communities work for me, but we'll just have to see since having a support system in the non-virtual world is valuable to have.

Hi Rebecca,

I am now unable to make it to the meeting. The gal I was driving up with needs to leave early and I am unable to. Maybe the next one.

Alas, I AM human!

I thought maybe I wasn't. Just kidding.
After a nice little detox, I have been recently caught up in my addictions to cooked food. I hate admitting it, and yet, if I don't, then I subject myself to more of the obsessive behavior. I definitely need some more high calorie foods, as that is how I find myself looking at bread and cookies.
My husband Josh and I are BOTH going to Raw Spirit Fest and I am so looking forward to that experience. I can't wait! And also, I get to have a goal to wo… Continue

It's Been Too Long!

I'm about to start the Raw Divas 7 Day Detox and I'm excited. I'm learning more about myself and my relationship to food and how that affects my raw food lifestyle. I've been feeling pretty left out recently and it helps to see that I don't need to use food (raw or otherwise) to make me feel included...and in fact, it doesn't even work anyway.

So I'm excited at the prospect of eating only fruits and veggies for 7 days (I wasn't into it… Continue

I love people!

I've been known to run away from people in my life for various reasons. I've been known to feel overwhelmed and stressed out by people...but recently, after realizing that I have also spent ALL of my life trying to be with people more, that I actually prefer that. I usually only run away or hide if I can't be my authentic self. But when I can be, then I really love community.

This past weekend I participated in Raw Network of Washington's Gala event with David Wolfe and it was SPECTACU… Continue
