Today's Lesson Plan: 1) Paul, in this case it should be "Andrea and me" not "I" If you're talking first person and you drop the other person, you wouldn't say vote for "I", you'd say vote for "me". Andrea and I will go to the store. Drop the other p…

Profile Information

About Me:

Until spring of 2007, I was about 0-15% raw, haha! Summer 2007 I moved up to about 50% raw, and began to feel the benefits. I slowly transitioned until November 2007 when I started to attempt to go 90-100% most days. I feel wonderful!

I am no longer married, have 2 kids, 2 horses, 2 dogs, a cat, a pet goat, a pet sheep, and 2 pet chickens. I like sailing, horseback riding, hiking, camping, traveling, mountain biking, skiing (downhill and xcountry), kayaking, walking on the beach, and laughing. I like anything that makes me laugh.

Better than Girl Scout Cookies

It's that time of year again. Those cute little girls hanging out beside the shopping carts outside the stores. Knocking at your door waving the list. We all know what they taste like and start to make excuses on why we buy them:

"it's for a good cause"
"they're tax deductible"
"the little girl looked so cute/sweet/earnest/desperate"

The kids don't care if you buy the cookies.
Just give them the money and WALK AWAY! They still have the cookies to sell.

In the meant… Continue

Still cold out but I'm no longer craving S.A.D. comfort food.

My tricks:
-Hot tea with ginger warms me up.
-Warm chocolate drink with chipotle.
-Skin brushing is a very quick warmer.
-I began making extra foods ahead of time that contain fats and taste rich.
-I avoid television because of it's advertising.
-I'm experimenting with soups. My favorite right now is a spoonful of white miso in a bowl of warm water, zucchini noodles, chunks of avocado and sliced cherry tomatoes.

Jeff, WendiDee and Me!!!

Getting Jeff into our bed was a running joke starting at the Raw Spirit Festival in Sedona. Here we were documenting the "evidence" of partying raw food style. Who needs drugs and alcohol when you've got cacao and pounds of leafy greens?

Rawbin! Yes, a local chick! lol. It's funny, but I thought I already had you as a friend, but I guess not! I have seen your profile and watched your smoothie video a few months ago. So I guess it was meant to be! *smile* I love that area where you live...I assume you live in the Natural Zing area. I drove there once to pick up some things. Beautiful and the air is so clean. Thanks for adding me. I need some local peepz to chat with. take care. talk to you soon.

Chimps, bonobos and orangs eat a lot of fruit, but there is good evidence that chimps have dental adaptations to eat meat, but they can also do without it.

Dorothy - I know it is hard to keep up with. I was referring to the post about your husband and dogs. It was just very sweet. :)

Chimps eat fruit (mainly) vegetation (rarely) and insects (even more rarely) and smaller monkeys (when available) but they are not -strict- fruititarians.

"I have seen young children pull the wings off of butterflies for fun" Yeah, but not for food, they didn't eat them did they?
