I've been vegan since December of 07 (with a few slip up's in Thailand, apparently they haven't heard of soy ice cream yet) and raw vegan since June of '08. As a young healthy female in the medical field, I embrace raw veganism as a way to naturally preserve all the youthfulness I posses and truly believe in the value and worth of this way of life. An avid health-nut and fitness enthusiast, I invite any advice and word of any gatherings in and around NYC, MD, and DC.

Ideas for use of juicing pulp
Hi! I am looking for ideas for things to do with all of the pulp I am getting each day from juicing. So far I've made some yummy cookies (carrot/apple/cuke pulp with raisins/sea salt/agave- dehydrated) but I need more ideas. Any suggestions??? Thanks a million!!!!

My juicing routine
A new friend asked me to email her my juicing routine, so I thought I should put it up here too :) (Whoo hoo Blaire!!)
So my juicing routine starts with a big produce trip- the following will last you about 4-5 days, depending on how much water you drink- the more water you drink the less hungry you will become and then your supplies last about a day or two longer:
8 cucumbers,
3 or 4 bunches celery
12 lemons
4 limes
A big piece of ginger
a few tomatoes
garlic
1 bunch beets
2 or 3 heads of kal… Continue

Rebounder Recommendation Needed
Hello everyone! I know this site is about food (the BEST food on earth, raw food), but I also know that anyone here who's been on a rebounder loves them, and that rebounders are a part of raw culture. I will be studying for an exam for the next month, and while I work out daily I can think of absolutely nothing better than to take 10 minute rebounding breaks every hour or so, however I don't know which are the best rebounders.
