I don't have personal experience with this, but i looked it up in Natural Healing in Gynaecology by Rina Nissim. It said to use lactobacillis powder in a lactic acid cream (Ribolac). To keep it from returning, or any other nonspecific bacterial ...

Profile Information

About Me:
I am currently eating 80-90% raw on a daily basis, all vegan but with sashimi or lox once or twice a week; hey, it makes me feel good. My primary motivations for going raw is to be high on life! I have always been thin, but struggle to have enough energy to accomplish everything I want to throughout the day with the enthusiasm I feel.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
Help me feel not like such an alien. It's so odd how we get lectured all our lives to be healthy, and then when we finally are we are criticized for not lining up with the american food pyramid standard.

A trip to Cafe Gratitude and thoughts on raw gourmet and militant raw veganism...

I love raw gourmet. Really. I think it's amazing that I can inhale an entire banana cream pie + multiple salads and smoothies in a day and maintain my weight while keeping my energy high. I feel better eating raw "lasagna" than the real thing. However, I feel like I'm starting to reach a plateau on my raw journey, and I'm starting to think that 100% is not the answer.

Last night I went to Cafe Gratitude with my friend and ate a wonderful meal. Appetizers and a taco salad for me, topped with a m… Continue

"I never did that to people before I went vegan" - to clarify, I never made comments for the sake of being right when I was first learning some of the horrors of the food industry in general.

Someone I was talking to recently pointed out how ridiculous it is to scrutinize anyone for wanting to eat healthy. I think its ridiculous because half the time I have more of a case to argue a point than the people starting the argument, yet any thing I try to get in there just gets talked over.

I never did that to people before I went vegan, so I feel it only happens with people who have such little confidence in thereselves, lifestyles and beliefs that any differing opinion or belief presented to them just threatens there belief structure, hence then the defense mechanism. Or they believe so blindly in whats been fed to them that they have no other choice but to drown out any conflicting information for fear of admitting they may have been misonformed and living according to that misinformation.

To be fair, I have been on the other end where I get a little cut-offy and also have been reluctant to believe information that apposed veganism raw foods. Thje difference is I recognized it and corrected it. If anything I'm a little to nice sometimes in conversation and I have a little too much patience. If I dodnt beleive sharing information was one of the most important things anyone could do, Id choose not to deal with any ignorant conversation haha

Demian as a title is new to me, I am not much of a reader, more of a listener, like hearing stories from people of their lives and thoughts.
In seven weeks time today,I am intending to leave this island and head back to the west coast where I have enjoyed living at times, I am excited by this idea. Nice to hear back from you.jamshedx
