The next picnic is this Sunday Sept 7th, 12pm noon at Hyde Park. Look for the red "raw" sign, we'll be on the Vincent St side near the mosaic tile feature. My number is 0431 991 813 in case you've any trouble finding our spot. Bring cutlery for yo...

Curious what you're up to these days. How often do you go between Thailand and Australia?
I don't know how long I'll be asleep. I'll do this at a friend's house in Sing Buri. I don't suppose I'll be there in Feb though.
There's a place in Belize that I'm hot to get to. It might become my next home. And, since I've been wanting to settle down somewhere for some time now, this might also become my home for good.
40 acres in the jungle where the owners are looking for someone else to live with on the land. The owners are Natural Hygienists and have planted tons of fruit trees.
The guy seems to have awakened / had that enlightenment experience (I say this cautiously), so if he can give me some guidance ....
I'm looking for two things in my next home, one, is an environment where spiritual practice is strong. So, this one seems good. Two, money. I have been thinking of ways to make some money there. All in all, it just might work well.
I'm really itching to get there, but I want to do this sleep thing first. And meet some friends. So, I'm a bit busy getting ready to leave Korea in a couple of weeks.
Hope to meet up with you again sometime, somewhere.
Troy.
HIYA Rachan! Why do you look different? Ah, you've shaved! Why wouljya do that anyway?! I'll be back in Thailand in September. No plans except to sleep a lot. Really. I mean, as long as it takes to get healthy. Hmmm.... Looks like you're not checking in with this group. Anyway, maybe we can meet up somehow.
Hi, Rachan. I'm hearing rumours of a raw food picnic this coming Saturday. Can you confirm such? Is there an official notice about the next one somewhere?
Cheers!
Sawatdee ka, I leave on monday, so excited! Can you recommend any things to do or places to go that are not so touristy? It's nice to get the inside word. I got the lowdown on Cambodia from Anthony the raw model which was great.
Hi Rachan,
I lived in sakaew, east of Bangkok and near the Cambodian border for a year in 1997. And I've been to Chiang Mai about 4 times in the last 3 years for meditation at forest temples and travel. I'm from Brisbane, Australia, but I'm now living in Tokyo. But, my goal is to save money here and leave in about another year or so to return to Thailand or somewhere in South East Asia to live. I love all the tropical fruits, the Thai "sabai sabai' attitute and the more natural environment around Chiang Mai. So, where do you spend most of your time, in Australia or Thailand?
You wanna both snowboard and ski? You usually have to stick to one if you want to master it. Not saying you can't do both, but maybe wait until you got the hang of it before switching up.

My dog likes to sleep between my legs. Warm and I rather not speculate what's going through Mr. SS McCracken's head. Then again, he likes to sniff the cat's butt after using the litterbox :hurl:
This is WONDERFUL news!!!!! Many blessings from God to you. I love yoga. It is working miracles in my physical and spiritual walk with the Lord. Someday I'd like to visit India with my mother and sister.
One of my coworkers left a Little Debbie zebra cake for me for my b-day. I ate half and gave the other half to my husband. Sometimes I'm able to resist and some days (like now when Aunt Flo arrives) I nibble. The other day my husband made stovetop...
I love food as long as it's good. I love the fact my husband raised two turkeys for himself instead of being like his friends and buying the five dollar turkey at Walmart (yes there really is a five dollar turkey). My grandpa died at 103 and that'...
