hey there:)
yep, on a fast is when people the sharpest moments of their mind. The mental clarity can be quite amazing, but it also comes and goes as the cleansing waves come through. I remember being so sad when I started eating again after a previous fast because my mind got duller again. But if you are mostly raw I am sure you live pretty close to peak as far as that goes.
Not finding happiness in "stuff" anymore is a spiritual perspective where you find so much joy bubbling up from within that no material objects can tempt me into believing they can provide the fleeting happiness they promise. It's why monks of all faiths (true ones) live a very simple material existence. And I fully appreciate you taking responsibility for your thoughts and actions in making the world a better place, and I think it makes a bigger difference than is obviously apparent.
Gotta get to bed, today is day 1 of 30 and I am excited to wake up tomorrow and know it is behind me. G'night:)
ah, yes, being a vegan in Wisco.... a strange plight at times if you like to eat out! But you're in Madison I see, which can be a different climate. Point has a wonderful community of organic growers and renewable energy enthusiasts, but few vegetarians, much less vegans. Thanks for the fast support! This will be amazing I know, and I also know it might not be happening if I did not find this site the other day in search of like-minded peeps like yourself. Have you ever done a water or juice fast? Well, being raw is like a cleanse every day anyway. And I am interested in your vow of poverty, as I am a devotee of a master who was born in the Hindu faith, although she is above the differences of religion. Anyway, she has taught me the value of detachment from objects and the need to acquire, which has been very liberating! And I also have faith that I will be supported with my basic needs so I don't value money any more either unless it will get me a plane ticket to India. I wonder if your and my approach lead to similar places.

Just being curious again :P ...
There are so many unique people, with their own ways of eating.
Vegan, Vegetarian, Lacto-Vegetarian, Ova-Vegetarian, Fruititarian and Raw foodist are some of the many labels people define themselves or others.
What ...
"Fashionista's" simply look at Fashion as an Art, their own bodies as the canvas, and the sense of style they develop along the way is simply the masterpiece.
Yes I have also been known to have eyes bigger then my stomach...
I'm sure that your choice has brought you a lot more attention then you wanted and some attention you never wanted.
Life is just a series of mistakes. It's what we learn from them...
Thanks, Erin. Dang, I forgot to check Vitacost, which I just did--and I have been seeeeeriously overpaying for my essential sweets!
I have definitely made friends with stevia--it's like my new *best* friend now that I don't use any other sweetene...
lol i didn't mean, btw, that worshipping Jesus is not good :) i more meant that, in my opinion, it's his message that should be worshipped and not the unique-being. grand appreciation, though :)
