I am glad to hear someone else has eaten raw Ulu. It's not as good as Durian, which it is related to. Yes, it is very thick and left a heavy sensation behind. It is sweet and would make a good juice, but the fruit from my tree is small, about the size of a grapefruit and was not very juicy at all. I think I may have to eat the other half today with something juicy just to balance it out. Thanks for your comment.

You are the first person to ever tell me they have tried juicing Coconut Sprouts. It would have to be someone from Pangaia or Ono Farms of course. That was a good point you mentioned. I have never paid for Coconut Sprouts. Noone sells them here. I find them in forests mostly. I do leave behind some Coconut Sprouts to provide for the next generation. Especially the firmly rooted ones. It's tempting to eat or juice all the Sprouts, but critical to plant for the next harvest.

Hey Olucean! How are you? I was just reading your post on eatrunbikesurfraw's page, and I'm glad to hear that the counsel has decided that!

I live on the mainland, but have done minor research on how Hawaii became a part of america, and we totally just stole it with trickery. It upset me to find this out, but just lifted my soul to know that the islands are will be standing up and taking back what is rightfully theirs!

Eatrun and I are traveling together, and I have contacted the farms and am about to send an email out for the interning. I hope that we both see you and spread love!

cool man i definatly will drop by some day, look forward to meeting you as well and learning more about the pangaia lifestyle. I read on one of the forums that there is quite a bit of racism towards whites in HI, have you noticed any of this or is it anything to worry about? THanks !

my magic bullet burnt out, it was good for travelling while I had it though. Can you get a second hand blender? The cheaper ones I have used don't chop up the greens as well. Try to get something with a higher wattage, like 1000watt.

Yes I have also been known to have eyes bigger then my stomach... I'm sure that your choice has brought you a lot more attention then you wanted and some attention you never wanted. Life is just a series of mistakes. It's what we learn from them...
