About Me:
My Faith, Family, & Friends are my everything!!

After that is health! I am obsessed with everything involving human health and I really hope that one day naturopathic medicine becomes more available for people as studies prove its effectiveness without using drugs or surgery!

I am currently studying Nutrition & Dietetics at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. I am hoping to go to the Medical University of SC after I graduate and stay in Charleston forever, doing what I love...Nutrition!

I have been raw for almost 2 years now & it was the best thing I ever did for myself! I truly believe this is the best way to live a long, happy, and fulfilling life!

If you want to know more...just ask! :)

Question regarding GLUTEN!!

Does anyone happen to know if following a raw diet would help individuals who cant digest gluten? Would soaking grains such as wheat, rye, and barley change the protein content of the gluten making it acceptable to eat? Also, If anyone knows a lot about CD and/or is interested in getting to the bottom of it please let me know! Thanks :)

That would be wonderful Nicole. Do you know any other raw-foodies 4 Christ?

Well that sounds exciting! Although I don't think you will find any new raw restaurants. There is a pretty cool 5K road race going on Saturday. I'm sure you will still have a good time.

i don't think I am keeping as busy as you are. It's going good though, I just started training for the IOP bridge run in October so that should keep me pretty busy along with work and anything else that comes up.

No I don't go there as often as I would like to. I don't wanna over do it, if that's possible. How is your Summer going so far?

It's about 20 miles North of down town Charleston. Have you done the bridge run before? I seen running on your list of interests. I did my first one this year and can't wait till next years. Anyhow, hope all is good.

Hi Nicole

Thank you for adding me. Your pictures are so marvellous and fantastic. Especially the pink house...where is it? Each picture speaks volumes for your interests, may it be a lighthouse or a puppy or an ocean or horse-riding ot doves. You are a cheerleader..and so being hale and healthy is a natural progression to your activities.

Why you think you would have high stress levels this year or next year? I would continue deep breathing by learning different breathing arts with the aid of youtube videos, and start with three or four Yoga posture exercises. Meditation would come naturally once you start Yoga and deep breathing. Let me know how this goes.

Love and Peace...

Thanks for the add!! The raw scene here is slowly growing. I graduated from ECU! a few years back...its a fun place to be. I am now at UNCW taking math and chemistry, so that may lead into me becoming some type of health professional. I do agree and I believe that most everything can be healed with diet/fasting/supplements/raw food! How do you stay raw up there? Right now I have slacked back to 50% YIKES!

hi stacey, I was doing Hatha Yoga, that involves asanas, prayanama, bandha and mudras. Apart from yoga we were taught Anatomy, Psychology, Philosophy etc., so that the students of this course could teach yoga and take it as a profession later.

I distinctly remember feeling the exact way. I had the Nesco dehydrator before, and it stunk (it didn't work well). LOL The Nesco dehydrator is made in a circular shape and it would take doubly long to dehydrate, and food was often very moist/chew...

I think the green is more "leafy" tasting (which I don't mind) but doesn't have the same long-lasting aftertase that the white does. I love the Wisdom of the Ancients green stevia liquid. I've finally made friends with stevia, LOL! I get it from V...
