I am a beginner as well. A bit of fuzz on the seeds is nothing to worry about. I have harvested 2 crops thus far....i cut it ~ 1" from the bottom...and all seems well.... it tastes VERY good....
I have heard folks suggest less water initially... ...
Thanks again for your help.....
I'm growing alfalfa and red clover sprouts now. The directions said to sprout for 4 days and then put them in direct sun for a day.....does that sound right?
So far those don't have the fuzzy's on the tail
Look very closely at the tails. Use a bright light and magnifying glass. If all is well, you will notice that these fuzzy little guys are actually micro roots coming off the main sprouting root.
Of course, it could be mold too, but I'm betting it...
I have a question.....rigth after I soak and drain the wheat berries over night.....
while they are in the sprouting stage, for the couple of days......the wheat berries always grow fuzzy's (mold) on the sprout (tail).....is that normal? or should...
I think this will be my last question on growing wheat grass....After I cut and juice the wheat grass...the grass keeps growing. Can I just keep cutting and regrowing in the same tray or should I toss it and start fresh after each tray is done.
T...
I'm going to try this and would like to know where you guys recommend buying seeds. wheatgrasskits.com charges $32 for shipping. Hopefully there's a better solution than this. Any help?
I am a 27 year old female who is excited about life. I love being out doors or anywhere near nature. I'm a Nutrition major....and hoping to graduate by next spring. I am new to raw food and just trying to find a community of people who are as passionate about living as I am.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
We are all energetically connected.....especially on this site. We all joined this site to receive encouragement, love and support from each other. If everyone on the site is activley involved thats enough, it's enough to show that we all care about our health, and the health of others.

Where are you interning? What are you getting your masters in?
I am a member of the PathOfHealth Community and I really like it because people are so friendly and make lots of posts. Also, lots of people in the community like to talk on the phone with each other. It is a great support team. You can check it out at PathOfHealth.org
My major at the University of Florida is Travel, Tourism and Event Management with a minor in business. All the internships I have done with Dr. Graham have been separate from my UF studies.
Hey Nichole GI2MR is coming to the windy city on July 5th. We hope you can join us for our first Chicago Meetup. Here are the details: http://events.giveittomeraw.com/chicago/
Hello Nichole! Welcome to GI2MR, a place for people to share and grow. We’re honored to have you here and would suggest that you just jump right into the community by posting your questions on the forum page, starting a group, making friends, and starting a blog! If you have any questions on how things work, feel free to drop us a comment and we’ll do our best to answer them.
I would not know what to say when it's my 10 minutes. I like the idea of without interruption though...then I can listen without feeling a need to respond to not make it seem like im not interested when I am
Nice picture and changes! I plan to go on a similar diet at some point, whenever I move out of Vermont and somewhere warmer. Lovin' the posts on your site, keep it up :P.
