About Me:
hmmmmm...where do i start?? I've always been terrible at describing myself, probably because it's such a subjective thing depending on the person you're talking to, or the day it is. I'm really a pretty simple person in a lot of ways...I see the beauty in almost anything. I have observed, and believe, that the wiser the soul, the greater the simplicity. My complexities lie in my perspectives on things in life, which are always multi angled. I identify with so many different people and things. I'm a rooted, grounded person with strong moral convictions...and i strongly believe in the power of faith and love, and because of that I've been blessed in many ways.
If you wanna know more specifics.....well, I have lived most of my life between dallas and los angeles, so although i've lived amongst "concrete jungles", i really am a huge outdoors, alfresco and camping fan. My favorite place in the whole world is Kings Canyon in the sierra nevada mountains...it is the most spectacular place you've ever seen. I went to the university of north texas and graduated with a degree in biochemistry, with aspirations to become a dentist...which later became holistic/naturopathic medicine. I'm still finding my way, though, every single day. I have a passion, and i believe a calling, to one day help people regain their health. Most people who know me, know me as a huge "health nut".... but I'm not dogmatic about it, or anything else for that matter. I just love feeling amazing, physically and mentally, and so choose to live as purely as I can. I am the easiest person in the world to get along with...and I just love to be silly, and strive every moment to, well, live in the moment.
How can the community best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, fitness tips, etc)
right now I am trying 80-10-10, as I have been dabbling with raw food for the past 2 years or so, never 100%though...guess you could say I have been easing into this lifestyle slowly but surely....and am finding absolute bliss in keeping things simple, sometimes nothing but green smoothies in a day. I am trying very hard to only eat things that make me feel good, clean, pure, and vibrant....any support, advice, or friends I can make here would be lovely, as none of my friends or family share my interest in this diet/lifestyle. I'm also looking for motivation to be more physically active, and consistent practicing yoga...I'm not very regimented in this way....yet ;)
guess you could say I'm simply looking for continued inspiration on my journey, other lovers of love, and people I can share more smiles with :)

Natalie,
I will be down in the LA area 4 business and to pick up a motorcycle I just bought and would love to get together with some fellow 811/rawfoodies for a potluck or a restaurant outing.....or maybe a Durian hunt followed by a live ATMA (http://www.myspace.com/atmamastabuildas) performance on the 30th.. lol... or......anything else that would be fun! Would you like to meetup around May 28-31? And perhaps we can find others who want to as well. I also want to check out the aetherius society and micheal beckwith's spiritual center (agapelive.com) while I'm there. Have you been to either?

as for the conspiracy stuff...yeah it's really...again..an issue of priorities..and even ADDICTIONS I think. people NEED some kind of instigator..to prevent them from doing something positive, so they 'create' one. I talk about it in the book in regards to the H.P. Lovecraft thing, HE saw that. Its not that there is a shortage of folks in the real world that DO want to even collaborate on consolidating power or whatever, but really you can stack up any number of reasons to never even get up in the morning...and people WILL do that also.

theres that 'hurt people hurt people, healed people heal people" thing..I'd add fighting systems creates 'fighting systems'. but its not about complacency or doing nothing. but I'm rambling.

well that is where meditation (in all forms) comes in. Yes its about stilling the mind..blah blah..but it is really about tapping into that 'feed' you know? setting up those 'barriers' through thought and intention..and then jsut letting the floodgates open and the water trickles down to where it needs to go. One doesn't have to be a healthy superwoman or spiritual guru or even to practice any particular meditation to make this work. Thats why I posted that Woody Allen Vid..haha. Its an aquired skill for sure..but it is quit doable

hey Nat...thanks for your wonderful request/comment

hmm..how to respond? one of the lines in the book is "the most effective minds are highly selective" NOT ones that try to hoard, contain, or sponge up everything.

I like to avoid redundancy..and only pop my head into something if there is something TO be said..you know?

which is why I've never felt the need to comment on you darling.
